Santa Ana Mexican Food — Restaurant in Woodburn

I've been here twice for takeout. First time I got carne asada nachos while my mom got a supreme chicken burrito, which I tried.

I liked the asada nachos, the asada was more like what I got when I lived in LA for 10 years, which I like a lot. I think there could probably have been more beans and maybe sour cream.

The burrito was good, but the chicken was plain. Luis's chicken super burrito has some type of sauce or something the chicken is in.

Second time I got a ham breakfast burrito, as I didn't hear the person I ordered from on the phone say there was bacon available as the connection wasn't great. Anyway, it was great, and I plan to make it a semi-regular weekend breakfast. I hadn't had a breakfast burrito since moving back home from LA in November 2020. I suppose the hash browns could be a bit crispier. If I get another one to go to eat while driving I'll ask if they can put hot sauce in it when they make it.

Oh, I was told they have breakfast burritos until they run out of hash browns, and so I was able to get one...

Walked into Santanas and Laura rapidly greeted us even though she was busy she took the time to make eye contact and it was a genuine hello. After we proceeded to the counter to order it was a smooth transition then we sat ourselves. I got the 3 taco plate with meat choice alpastor, chicken and asada, and my husband got a torta cubana. The dishes were full of flavor, they had 3 salsas a green not too spicy, a red spicy and oil salsa extra spicy they added the extra zing and flavor! I highly recommend this place as they have friendly staff and food...

We planned to eat here (5p on a Sunday) but upon walking in noticed dirty dishes on 8 out of the 10 tables. I don’t think we could have found a spot to sit. No busser or wait staff in sight. Just one blank staring employee at the cash register.

I looked around at the dirty dishes and tables and looked back at lady at the register, and she just gave me the deer in headlights stare. Well that makes my decision easy. We left, which is a bummer because I really was hoping to try their food. Maybe...
