My partner and I stopped by early evening after a rainy and wet hike at Silver Falls State Park carrying our two dogs looking for hot coffee.

We noticed that there are not many coffee shops in the area, just the typical chains, so decided that we should give this place a try!

So glad that we did!! The owner let us try our beverages after making them and asked us to try it so he can adjusted to our liking if needed. He took his time to explained where the chocolate and coffee beans came from for our beverages. We ordered a Mexican mocha and lavender latte. Wow, had a great experience here. Didn’t know what to expect, but was greeted with cheerful and bubbly service. The “Saturday barista” was energetic and enthusiastic about our complicated order. The coffee was excellent, I had the horchata latte and my GF got a Mexican Mocha with half cafe de olla. It was really good!!! The barista told me the horchata latte was “gas”, then was kind enough to explain to me what “gas” meant (it means it’s the best). We ordered two of their breakfast sandwiches, these are legit. I really love this coffee shop! I don’t much care for acidic coffee, preferring bold and smooth over citrusy. All the coffee drinks I’ve had from them are delicious and fit my flavor preferences. Over the summer I tend to go more mild and love to walk there and get an iced cappuccino.
