Lupitas Restaurant — Restaurant in Woodburn

When I was on my hunt for the best chicken tacos here in town this came to be my second favorite as it is the cheapest place that I could find chicken tacos at. The tacos are also pretty solid when it comes down to taste, but the proportion of meat is a little bit low but they balance it out with more cilantro and onions.

If you're looking to have chicken tacos like I usually am, this place is a solid option if you're not trying to spend too much or don't care for the meat as much it would like a little bit more on the topping side. Wow. By far my worst dining experience ever. We walked in and right away it was obvious that this establishment lacked hygiene. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out even though we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. What really took me by surprise was that about 10 people (I'm assuming family members) were gathered in the kitchen mingling. One of them was holding a crying child. The food was cold, dry and bland. Our waitress/cashier looked like she just rolled out of bed with greasy hair wearing a hoodie and some sweats. The only thing that came out right was a bottled corona that my sister ordered. Food was great - fresh ingredients & flavorful. Red sauce was very spicy and green (guac?)sauce was savory. Order from the sidewalk window or go inside while you wait for larger orders. They have ice cream with churos that looks really good, but I was so full that I didn't have room to try it. Definitely going back for another round.
