The absolute best chocolate mousse in the state of Connecticut hands down! It has been a short while since we last visited, and there are numerous other delectable treats offered at this fine establishment. From the breads to the croissants, to the jams, to the quiches, to their other desserts, ALL are top of the line quality with a richness that I have simply not EVER found anywhere else in the state. Chocolate mousse is a 1x a year soul food treat and again, I am happy to report and share with the world, that there is simply no other of equal measure in this state. Final note, literally EVERYTHING that we have ever purchased on our ventures here over the years has been sensational. If you have a sweet tooth, enjoy good food (and service!), you cannot go wrong here! I'm literally foaming at the mouth for more as I finish this review :drools: :)

So for the past year and 8 months, one of my bosses has been bringing the Ovens of France to the office. Everyone loved it. It's always such a delicious treat. Today, on a Saturday morning, I decided to tell my husband we are going to Woodbury, CT, to the Ovens of France. It's time for you to try it! We both had frozen cappuccino. Rich lovely frozen deliciousness! Then, we ordered an assortment of Danish and croissants. All so buttery, flakey, and more delicious than the last. We will go back! You should go too!!

Wow. I am so incredibly glad to have found this gem. I have been looking for a proper French bakery, and this is one of the best I've come across! The pain au chocolat (chocolate croissants) are amazing, the perfect blend of salty and sweet. The texture is airy and delectable. The service here is also wonderful, everyone was super friendly. We also tried the crinkle cookies and coffee, both were excellent. Excited to come back for those as well!
