Jade Garden in Woodbury — Restaurant in Woodbury

I’ve ordered here probably at least once a week for the past 1.5 years. I was on hold for over 45 mins waiting to order..when they first answered they said “let me just finish up the call I’m on” I don’t think very many orders take 45 mins.. I called TWICE (on hold 15 min the first call then 30 min the second call) and they said the same thing the second time.. I honestly don’t mind waiting.. but calling twice and being told “I’m just finishing up a call on the other line” makes it sound like a few mins. If there is a 45 min wait just to order, tell me that when you first answer- not “I’ll be right with you I’m finishing up a call”. So unprofessional. And not even checking on me to say thanks for waiting, just a few more mins is just crazy. If you really do have an order that takes over 45min maybe put them on hold for one min for a regular whose order takes one min. Honestly, as I type this I’m still on hold just curious to see how long they are going to leave me on hold. I don’t think I’ll order here again, they...

This is the 2nd time this has happened at this restaurant. I called in my order to Jade Garden in Woodbury last night. I get there and the young girl at the register says it’s $11.50 (before tax). I showed her on my phone that their web site says it’s $8.99. She says, “I’ll show you right on our menu.” She opens the paper menu and says, “Huh, this says $9.99.” I told her that she should honor one of the two lower prices, as any store would do out of courtesy. She calls for her boss to handle this. The woman says that prices go up, so it’s now $11.50. I told her that this happened to me the last time I was in and that she should fix the web site & their in-house menu. Because they didn’t fix this, I feel like they are taking orders from people who are expecting to pay one price and then paying a higher price at pick-up. Since I just had one order it was very noticeable, but if I had multiple orders, it would probably go unnoticed. Also, their portions are MUCH smaller than they used to...

Always loved Jade Garden for take out. Food is great. We ordered weekly from them but have now moved on. Ordered from them through Uber Eats on Valentine’s Day and I was fine with the hour estimate they gave but after an hour still noting. Uber driver sat there for 30 minutes. I called up at the 90 minute mark and was told they hadn’t even put my order in yet and there were 40 orders ahead of ours. The guy on the phone said they were understaffed and didn’t plan for the rush (on Friday night Vday?). He said he would get the manager for me and then came back and said the manager wasn’t taking calls. They said for my trouble they would still make our order but couldn’t prioritize it. I said I would cancel and while struggling to cancel on Uber, another hour went by with the order in but they still hadn’t started it 2.5 hours in and the Uber app only kept updating it would be here in 15 minutes.
