Was in town for a friends’ birthday and stumbled across this wonderful surprise, just a block from his house. It was 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. A food truck was out front and a birthday party was in full swing in the large patio area. Despite it being busy, I didn’t wait for more than two minutes to order. There were a LOT of options, and time was not on my side, so I chose a flight of their IPA offerings and a key lime pie sour. I was not disappointed with a single beer. They were exactly the lubrication I needed for the upcoming introductions and interactions, helping to shake off whatever anxiety might be gnawing away at me. The establishment was clean. Prices were the median prices one would come to expect at a brewery. There were to go options and merchandise if one were so inclined to take something home. The beertenders were courteous, responsive, and quick. Vibe is always a concern at breweries, and I dug theirs. It had all the tropes of your average industrial brewery - ropes lighting, local artwork, metal and wood - not to mention the mellow, beer loving locals. Can’t wait to return with more time and a designated driver.

Got a flight and a pizza - solid all the way around. All five brews were fantastic; if I had picked up a sixer of any of them, I'd be excited to drink the other five. Two stood out for me, though: Dark Side of the Rainbow hazy IPA and The Floor is Guava sour. Pizza had a relatively thin crust that was both crispy and chewy - wonderful. The toppings were good too. Wish I lived closer than 2000 miles away; otherwise I'd be here all the time 🙂

Really cool place, I love the vibe. They have a food truck and a live band what could be better? The only issue I have is with the beer. All the beers kind of taste the same. I ordered a flight of five beers and they all have the same color, clarity and flavor. I watched her poor five different beers so it doesn't make sense. Granted I ordered a IPA, West Coast IPA and a New England. They still shouldn't all look the same.

These guys produce my favorite beer. I live about 30 miles away, but I can't find this beer locally anywhere...so I made the ride to Woodland to stock up. Blue Note Brewery is basically a warehouse with a bar and seating either indoor or out. The staff is friendly, too. I must have gotten there a little after 2 pm, and people were starting to trickle in...I could see this place being quite busy in the afternoon and evenings! I picked up my 4 - 4 packs of "Blood on the Tracks" and hit the road for home. This beer isn't cheap, but it is my fave...so the price is...

I don't go to bars. This is not a bar - it is closer to a traditional German drinking place where familes go to socialize. But it it's own place - not really like any other. Fresh air, a large open room with lots of light and high ceilings. Great GREAT beer!! How lovely to sit at the bar and chat in this establishment. Or sit in a booth, or at picnic tables. Or BEST OIF ALL- there is a spot like a den with soft comfortable furniture and you can bring your DOGS here!!! I truly love...
