Waffle House — Restaurant in Woodlawn

It was the WORST. Just AWFUL. I waited at least 30 mins for my order. 20 mins after I arrived I got the coffee that I ordered. I went behind the counter to get sweetner. I asked for hard scrambled eggs, they were soft. I asked for bacon, I didn't get it w/my order. I asked for dry toast, it had butter. I offered a refill on my coffee...I had to wait another 20 mins. I had to get up & ask for silver ware. The cook asked if I needed anything, I told him yes, the bacon that I ordered. He cooked & served the bacon. He told the waitress that she should pay for my meal because I waited so long. She said she couldn't afford to. She had a bunch if kids at home & 1 in the oven. Which was fine. The next problem came when she gave me a bill for $13.00. I asked her since when is 2 undercooked eggs, buttered toast, hash browns, coffee & bacon that took so long that I had to take it to go cost $13.00. She knocked it down to $10.00. Which was still too much. Yes, I paid it. Then she asked how much of a tip I left. She couldn't read the tip. I told her she' d have to at least figure that out for herself. Excellent food. it has been so long since I’ve been to a waffle house I almost forgot about how good their food really is and the secret style of hashbrowns that you can order you know like the covered smothered smashed and warm Trainwreck style I believe it has everything onions chili tomatoes cheese I mean seriously they don’t hold back on anything just ask for the train wreck hashbrowns it is a huge starter for 80 big day to come. Seriously if you have a big workday ahead of you and will probably wind up skipping lunch you need to stop here at waffle house and order a train wreck lol as well as giant waffle eggs and all the Fixin’s I was really happy at how they cook the bacon all the way through and the sausage as well I got both meats bacon and sausage no sense in skipping on the good stuff. This is a place I like to stop at with my friends especially when we are on a road trip because you know what you were going to get when you stop at a waffle house great food good service and it’s fresh made to order every time man they’ve got this thing down pat just leaving this review makes me want to go and eat at waffle House...

First thing is i didn't get a receipt for my order. Second thing is my steak looks like someone chopped the top of it off about a inch. Third thing it that it's very thin. Now i had told our server that i had been to the dentist and i am a little dizzy from the meds the doctor gave me but i am hungry. I should've looked at my food before leaving the Waffle House, but i was not thinking straight at the time. When i got home to eat my Steak, eggs, hash browns & toast [My steak didn't look right] so i called their and the female that waited on myself & sister answered the phone and said the manager was not there at that time but will be in at 6:00am-2:00pm try calling back then. Well i explained what i saw when i opened up my food to eat, i paid $17:05 for my food and it tastes so plain with no tasted at all. That was my first and last time eating there period.
