Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Woodridge

Bartender on December 29th at 930pm denied me service. He was very unfriendly, I have seen him there before a handful of times and had no complaints before last night. I usually don’t complain on social media but when you worked 12 hours a day all week and you go in for one beer and some wings and believe you are a regular, and receive service service of this quality you would be upset too. The problem was the first two Comments he made were just a heads up Last call is at 9:30 and do you have your ID. Now if it was the first time you see me it would be a different story but like I said I have been there at least 5 times with this guy And I don’t have the best memory but I know bartenders do you have good memories. He denied me service because my license was expired by five weeks keep in mind I’m in my mid-30s have a beard and he has seen be there before. I would’ve respected him more if he just said hey I’m leaving soon I don’t feel like taking care of you tonight. I have probably spent over $10,000 a Buffalo Wild Wings in the last 10 years. I am extremely upset by how this employee did not use discretion to take care of a familiar and loyal customer. The manager did not help as well I have been in this Buffalo wild wings ordering food and beer since probably 2010. I’ve never had any problems with any other Buffalo wild wings just this one in Woodridge Illinois last night. Keep in mind drivers license expiration dates were extended for all legal purposes until March 31st of 2022. I will never return to this Buffalo wild wings again or any which is sad because I really like the place but this employee ruined it for everyone and no other no wonder why this location is losing money and going downhill. I’ve gotten takeout, dine-in, and delivery. Barely a pleasant experience, and I’ve gone here multiple times in a ten year span. The food? It is not very good. I once had a salad that came with a fly. They may have offered a refund, but the fly was dead so they should have noticed the big black bug on the lettuce. Besides that, the boneless wings taste horrible. They are dry, pasty, and the only taste can only be described as unnatural. Only once did I have a decent sandwich, but it would be a disgrace to the culinary craft to mess up a chicken sandwich. Also I was waiting here for 5-10 minutes with absolutely no service in an empty restaurant. The only redeeming quality this place has is a decently nice atmosphere and the kind employees. The only thing that makes this restaurant pleasant to be in is the iPads for kids, but I don’t think they even have that anymore. I am not happy with this place and they do not deserve more than 2 stars.

Update: I came back, the wings were not warm and the cakes we ordered were stale and bland. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if the wings were being kept warm by the heat lamps since this morning and the cakes taste and look like they’ve been frozen for three months. DON'T DINE IN HERE! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND BARELY WARM FOOD. We went to our local BWW that we frequent usually for carry out but really wanted dine in on a boneless wings Thursday. We were seated quickly but then forgotten until we flagged down a server after over 10 minutes who then went to find our server who showed up maybe 10 minutes later. Initial drinks were quick, and we placed our food order at the same time. They apologized in advance that the kitchen would be slow. We ended up waiting about an hour without food, no drink refills, and no visits from our server. I finally was able to flag down someone else, and they went to check on our food. They finally brought it out, like warm wings, a nearly cold burger, and missing some sides. By far the worst experience at any restaurant and I'd have rejected the food and left of it wasn't almost 2 hours at that point. We ate some quickly and took the rest to go and warm up at home. The server eventually showed up again to give us a check. Overall time there nearly 3 hours and not because we were hanging out. Never going back...
