First off, I have got to give a big kudos to the staff for enduring today's mayhem. Today marked a very special anniversary for Rosattis, where they offered customers near and far a carry-out special at the price they charged in 1964. What nostalgia! This truly drew out the pizza fanboys, and frugal consumers alike! Let's just say, you truly had to be a pizza fanboy, to endure what I witnessed here today.
As a franchise, Rosattis definitely set-up to make it a successful event. I observed good marketing, and also that the amount of topping offered online were limited, it meant they had enough toppings (and boxes!!) on hand to keep the orders flowing. I can only imagine the prep work behind the scenes that made this into a reality, especially seeing that there were 50+ people in like constantly during the time I was at this location.
What actually ensued is a whole other story. Poor management, or lack of, and no organization ensured that an online order placed at 1 pm, meant I would be walking out, with a cold pizza at 4:30 pm, after having waited, in line, for 3 hours. This is not in the slightest what I was expecting, but somewhat understandable given the situation.
Just my 2 cents, Hire a consultant, figure out what the play needs to be, to help you carry out an event like this. Keeping up the employees morale up, and making this a positive impression on the customers, especially those who have been loyal for all these years, should be...

What is the point of preordering at 3:30pm for 5:45pm pickup if you don't start making rhe pizza until 5:50? It's bad customer service to see people who clearly ordered their pizza 15 minutes ago walk in and get theirs waaaaay before your own! Please manage your online orders better with phone un orders.
10/30: Rosatis is STILL struggling with online ordering. We ordered at 5:00pm for 7pm pick up. Arrived at 7:02 and had to wait a whopping 27 minutes in line just to get up to counter to ask for our pizza!!! How ridiculous is this system? Several people there to do the same but told system lost orders, never received, etc. I get everybody has to wait their turn but once it is determined your order is not in the system then you move them to the next line to place the order in person and you ask the next person their name and move the stinking line along! Love Rosatis pizza but might need to find a new one to visit because the Woodridge store can't get things straightened out. Read moreSo spoke to the Manager Tony about a coupon problem (this is the second or third time a different coupon was not deducting the Proper amount in store and on the website) and its false advertising. I have $23.98 in pasta dishes ordered plus a sandwhich and cinnamon sticks full total before tip and "savings" with delivery is $40.20. The coupon has no amount stipulations only says "Cannot be combined with any other offer." It was only taking off $2.40 (which doing the math IN MY HEAD is not "20% Off Pastas With A Purchase of $15 Or More" (which when the math is done comes to $4.796 rounding up to $4.80) on the website so I called, same thing. Argued with the Manager who couldnt math and had to bust out a calculator to check the math and still get it wrong and make up some excuse of why its corporates fault and offer me no solution. If you order from here watch your coupons and the deductions good. I was a loyal loving customer and order often. Sadly the Roasti's brand will be removed from my household and other household's of relatives and friends...
