Edited to add: I had to add another amazing employee and also speak on how kind the owner was when he reached out after my complaint on a employee rude statements.. he said he would handle said issue and I believe he has since the statements havent been made
I love being able to brag on food workers when they are amazing, I try not complaining cause I know the work with customers in the food server industry can be unpleasant, I will say not all customers are right in some situations. I will only make complaint when I feel I was showed very rude or poor service because I try being a kind customer that smiles back, and speak with respect and understand that places get busy and things do happen that can't be blamed on food workers. I wanna be the same type of customer that I would want when I was a server, I also believe if I'm doing the same I would do if I was working and a customer come in I'm give same respect regardless if I'm the customer or the employee..
Omg I love catching the times that one employee works she is absolutely amazing never fails when I go to order anything my order is always correct and even when I order my food is right but when I go for the mocha frappe's with added chocolate and Carmel drizzle extra I be excited seeing her there cause she makes it past perfect she does go over and beyond for her customers and wants to make sure their order is correct even when it requires special requirements she has it on point so if you go and page is there just know she is so great and will do her best making the experience pure amazing. I suggest asking if she is there if u want a special request cause if u tell her I promise she will go above and beyond trying to take care of your special requirements for orders..
omg I now have a second employee that is so sweet and very kind, her name is Nyia .. when I see her or Paige working I know my order will be done correctly and I will get a welcoming smile and kind service. when I tried ordering via app or restaurant she is also on point with making customers receive their orders as they wanted, tonight the app told me mocha frappe was unavailable take off order so we we went through the drive thru my fiance order my frappe, I received it here is where it's amazing she is another one that knows exactly how I love my frappe so when I say mocha frappe add Carmel drizzle it's done like I requested, she knows it's me I believe when that gets ordered. She is another amazing person she is very kind and professional always smiling when I see her. I wish all the employees would take a second and see how these 2 are very polite and showing true customer service these 2 amazing ladies are few but the food service industry needs more amazing ppl like these 2. I can say when I walk in seeing a smiling face and feeling welcome and cared about as a customer that makes my experience so amazing.
Multiple times I have to get many that fix my order even after they have done it many times some show frustration expressions, some made rude remarks but I have reached out on some employees and was contacted by the owner and he was very kind and understanding on my complaint and since he reached out I haven't had anyone make the statements that caused me to complain..
They do have some employees that are rude and many times I went in am for my frappe get one go back that afternoon they say machine is broken but i return the next morning and order a frappe never saying I they told me evening before it was broke when I order it and they make it after they make it I tell them those folks evening before was liars and horrible swearing machine...
Read moreThis McDonald's is located along Interstate 20/Interstate 59 at Exit 100 in McCalla, AL. The place is pretty easy to get to and is just off the interstate exit. It's located inside the Love's Travel Stop. Our visit here was on August 4, 2018.
The place was pretty busy when we came in, which was not a surprise since it was around the lunchtime hour. My niece was with us, and she wanted McDonald's, so that's the reason for the lunch stop here. When you first come inside, the place was pretty nice. There were some tables in there. With the rush, there were workers there clearing tables as quickly as possible to keep them available for others to use. I was still a bit apprehensive after seeing other reviews from here, but alas we were here anyways.
The wait in line to order was quick though. Our wait on this visit was about 2 minutes, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. I ended up ordering a Quarter Pounder With Cheese meal, with a special order on the burger with no pickles and extra onions. After a few minutes, the order was ready for all of us. Almost all of the orders were correct. The only error was with my burger. They did no pickles and no onions instead of extra onions. I went back up and asked for extra onions due to the mistake and they got that for me very quickly. After that, it was time to eat. The burger, fries, and drink were actually quite good and hot, which I don't normally expect at a fast food place. The others in the group said their order was correct and the food was good and hot as well.
Overall, this was an okay McDonald's. There does need to be some work at quality control to make sure orders come out correctly, but other than that, this visit fit the bill with no major issues. If I am looking for a McDonald's and am in this area again, I'd still come back given the experience...
Read morePlaced order at 5:32pm, time on receipt, when I got to the pickup window there were two cars pulled up waiting for their orders. I was told the fries were cooking and to pull over to the #2 slot to the side and my order would be out shortly. The two cars waiting received their orders and pulled away, other cars came and went yet I had not. Then a young man (the same that had told me to pull over) approached my car and asked for my receipt. I gave it to him. After waiting for quite a while longer I still had not received my order. The drinks and two sundaes I had received at the pick up window were now a melted mess as it was in the 90s this day. Finally I was tired of waiting so I cut off my car which I had kept running this whole time with my A/C because of the heat, to go inside. As I approached the building an employee stepped out to as me what my order was, I told her another employee had already been out to get my receipt. I went inside to the counter everyone was apologizing while they looked for my receipt. I told one of the employees that my two sundaes were a melted mess by now and she said they would replace them but I had to bring them in first. So I go back outside to get them. When I got back to the counter there were two fresh sundaes waiting. They thanked me and acted as if that was all. I asked about the rest of my order, again they had to search for the receipt. I had to wait several more minutes, while my second sundaes sat on the counter melting. Finally after many apologies I received my order and was again dismissed. I was sure to check my bag to make sure I had indeed gotten the correct items. I had to ask for my receipt back as it was not in the bag. I went straight back to my car and recorded the time. It was 6:09pm ! Food was fresh and hot, fried were undercooked and soggy and my sundaes were melted....
