This review is for the store as a whole (my experience with the cafe is not usually very impressive unfortunately... staff lack welcoming demeanor, and my 'hot' frappe was bitter, lacked flavor, and was barely warm). The product selection is excellent as they leave lower quality products off their shelves and only offer the good stuff (lots of organic products and items sold by smaller companies). The produce is not the best most of the time, but it is priced competitively and locally sourced. The produce that does not require refrigeration is better. (Sometimes the refrigerated produce is alright, so don't discount it entirely.) As for masks.. I find it a great relief to comfortably shop without one, and I am glad their employees are not forced to wear a diaper over their faces for many hours at a time for months on end. They have a plastic shield at the registers at the front and in the cafe area for anyone wanting to know. The employees running the front are friendly enough (can't say the same for the cafe.. I don't feel welcome at all, and even felt awkward asking simple questions about the items I wanted to order; they hardly verbally engaged me or made eye contact). You may want to keep track of pricing while everything is being rung up as sometimes they are not updated in the system, but if you catch a price discrepancy in store or at home they will remedy the situation without hassle and will do so apologetically. Overall, I much prefer shopping here to Whole Foods which is very over-priced and HUGE. It's better to support a local business over a soulless corporation any day. They even have a sitting area with coloring books and crayons where my kids can color while we snack on whatever we acquired...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was excited to shop here for a specific item and unfortunately didnāt have time to look around, but the selection seemed really awesome. I hope to come back to explore more, but my only hesitation is the terrible customer service. No greeting upon entry, no one asking if I needed help (I was one of the only shoppers in the entire store), and when I approached the register with my items, I wasnāt welcomed right away or with directions on what register to go to and my arms were full of stuff. The employees were finishing a conversation with a customer (I presume) leaving the store and then proceeded to talk to each other for 30 seconds after that person left before finally acknowledging my presence. And while she was checking me out, continued to have her conversation with the other employee. She was so distracted she accidentally rang up one of my items twice - luckily I checked my receipt and she apologized and gave me my refund in cash while still having her side conversation, and of course, no āhave a nice dayā or anything pleasant. I didnāt feel like a valued customer and I shared my experience with my girlfriends who initially told me about this store and they said they had similar...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been safely quarantining for 4 months to protect my very high risk mom and decided to finally go to the grocery store for the first time in months today. I thought Natureās Corner Market in Towne Lake would be the perfect, safe option because itās a HEALTH store and so small. They also had items I couldnāt get on instacart and their curbside pickup option I read about had no inventory to choose from. I went in with my mask and not a single employee was wearing one. I asked an employee if something was in stock and she looked at me like she couldnāt hear me with my mask on and had a horrible attitude. I have been a loyal customer since they opened in Towne Lake and am very disappointed by their service and lack of care for our town during the current pandemic as cases are on the rise in our state. I always tried to support them because they were a small business and recommend them to everyone so this is very...
