Growing up when I was in the mood for some ice cream or a good Root Beer Float I would get on my bike and head down to the Twin Kiss and enjoy whatever it was that I had ordered. As I got older and met a young lady from Salem County she introduced me to Cream Valley, a place she had grown up enjoying. Although we were still living close enough to Twin Kiss to go there once in a while we would find ourselves visiting Cowtown or maybe just some old friends of hers from high school and would often stop in as a special treat at Cream Valley. Then it happened, we realized we needed to get out of the city and back to her home turf so in 1989 we built our house and left the big city behind us to live in God's Country. With this move of course came the need to find new places to shop, worship, eat, play and other things that come along. Since we had decided to attend a church in the south western section of the county we also chose as our go to custard stand a place that was okay but did not even come close to what Twin Kiss had been but it was close to where we were on the nights we felt like getting something. As the years went by and new owners took over the Cream Valley and we also started attending a church in the north western part of the county driving through Woodstown to get there we tried another place out that we drove right by but felt unappreciated by the servers and more noticeably the owner. After a couple years of trial and error we settled in to pretty much only using Cream Valley since they have by far the best ice cream, the best employees and even the bet owners of any I have been to including Twin Kiss. Stop in and give them a try you...
Read moreWith 4.8/5.0 stars on Google and over 400 reviews, we had to try Cream Valley Custard 🍦 in Woodstown before summer was over! I had the chocolate/vanilla twist frozen custard, and my wife had the famous 🍊 creamsicle twist. The 'small' is more than enough, especially given how fast the soft serve frozen yogurt melts outside! True to its name, the custard is very rich, very creamy, very delicious. 😋 The young woman who took our order at the walk-up counter was smiling and very friendly. The manager was also very welcoming to guests who were enjoying their ice cream outside on the covered patio. 🍨 The management is very diligent about cleanliness and being attentive to their customers, which is nice. You can tell the whole staff works as a team and takes pride in their business. The covered outdoor atmosphere with picnic tables is conducive to enjoying an ice cream, snack, or sandwich/cheesesteak as a family while enjoying the country views (including neighboring golf course ⛳). Next time we want to try the Banana Split 🍌...it looked amazing! 🤩 Now we know why Cream Valley Custard is a "hidden gem" in...
Read moreA friend invited me out, as I'm just visiting the area. I've always trusted a business that stays busy, especially one that stays busy in rural areas. This place had a long line and a shortage of parking and you'll quickly find out why. The ice cream is good, and pretty much offers a variety of choices fitting for a hot summer day. The milk shakes were a hit with the kids. It's a great place to spend an evening sitting on the benches or right under the lift gate of your car... A great impression of south jersey. Just bring a wad of cash, as no other digital transaction is allowed, 6-12 bucks per person...
