We can start out by then exterior of the building. It was very clean and organized and well maintained. Entering the lobby the hostesses greeted us were not very friendly ascus how many in our party and then seems confused on where to put us in their dining room. I was thinking that maybe they were really busy or maybe they had a lot of reservations. When cilia decided where they one of the put us we walked into basically a empty restaurant. Then I questioned why did it take so long to see this. We sat down the hostess destruct the menus and walked away didn't say anything else seem very cold and distracted. Both hostesses a tire to me did not seem proper professionalism for what they were doing. We waited for a while before the server got to us she seemed very missed organized and was seeing to be disorganized. By then we already knew what we wanted to order and she gladly took or entire order at the time. We received are salads before entrees like requested my side salad seemed to be room temperature not chewing at all lettuce was not crisp but the one thing about it was their homemade balsamic vinaigrette was awesome. the bread that they served in this type of environment I thought would at least warm but was cold and not very appetizing. I received my steak the taste of it was very good but it was undercooked. The vegetables were crisp and Al Dente but my potato was slightly under done and not cut like normal restaurants usually do. It took some time to get our alcoholic beverages from the bar not understanding why it did but we eventually got them. My overall the decision if I would come back here would be yes but I would be cautious if they were very busy because they did not seem to be that busy but I would be cautious if they were very busy because they did not seem to be that busy but overwhelmed so stay cautious about visiting them for the price you pay me...
Read moreFirstly was surprised by the pricey menu. Looked at reviews and figured what the hell we will give it a shot as we live about 10 to 15 miles south. First we got flat sodas I had beer no problem with the beer. They said people were complaining about the strange flat taste to the sodas...So you still charge 2.63 per ?? I wasn't interested in a 25 dollar flat iron so I got crab bisque and bbq pork sliders. Maybe from living in Tennessee my bbq standards are to high for the north. In fact there is not one good bbq joint in a 50 mile radius of my area. Since when does cheese whiz belong on a BBQ sandwich? The pork was red and slightly resembled bbq in the sense it appeared pulled. No smoke no flavor for that matter. I won't even get into the crab bisque. It was Elmer's glue minus one key ingredient..Crab!!! My son's Pizza was slices on cheese on a flat bread with some sort of bland jarred sauce. Come on Chef!! No standards what so ever . I wouldn't recommend this place sorry just can't do it. Red Hen is half mile away along with Tavro. Rodes was a huge let down. Low quality low standard at a premium price. Sorry it was terrible. It's been a while since I've had food of such...
Read moreI was attending a group dinner of roughly 25 people. We were served by 2 waitresses who were helped by several food runners with an additional waitress during the main service. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. Someone in the group ordered a serious number of appetizer plates brought to both large tables and these started arriving in a very timely manner. Everyone had a different meal, and without question, all were satisfied with their choices and quality of meal. And amazingly, all meals at both tables arrived within moments of each other.
It's typically a strain on most restaurants to serve large groups like this but roadies handles this exceptionally well. Which is why this has turned into a "go to" restaurant whenever we have a group meeting at the local regional office. If they can get hot, quality meals out to a large group then you certainly won't be disappointed When visiting with as a single individual, couple or smaller...
