Authentic Mexican Food. We found this place just driving around looking for a place that wasn't crowded. Some of us were not really hungry so we were looking for something simple like Queso and Tortillas....sadly that isn't on the menu. However, the Guacamole was fantastic. My daughter (19) loved it and she doesn't even like Guacamole. The nachos were good but they don't have ground beef...so you are using shredded steak, beef or chicken as your meat. Again the food is authentic...so it isn't like Taco Bell or Don Paublo's. My husband had a sample platter special..my favorite item he had was called something like Tinga Chicken..the flavor was fantastic! The atmosphere is blah...kind of like a cheesteak joint in a strip plaza BUT all of the staff made up for the lack of pizzazz in decorations with their friendly attitudes. The waitress was nice and helpful. We will definitely be visiting this place again...FYI...when you sit down they put complimentary chips on the table with this stuff that looks like chocolate with white chocolate shavings...um too my surprise it is been puree and cheese not chocolate! It tasted good as been puree not...

It was a cute little place on the "main street" of swedesboro - watch your step on the way in there's a steep incline into what must be a very old house. If you become overwhelmed by indecision with a large menu, I recommend looking theirs up before you go! Of note, it is surprising to find authentic Mexican without many vegetarian options. I'm sure you could ask that many of the offers be made without it, but meat is in most everything. The chips and salsas brought when we were seated were clearly home made - both the green and red were great. Guacamole is fantastic - medium is about the size of a circle made with your two hands but the bowl is DEEP. The fish tacos were well executed so the pescetarian in the group was pleased. I found the chicken to be excellent. We also saw a few pick up orders go out while we were there. We look forward...

I waited for about a minute and a nice guy came out and asked if he could help me. I gave him my order and he said that it would be right up. Shortly thereafter a nice lady came into the restaurant, went to the back, then came out with my food. As soon as I began payment I realized that they weren't even open, lol. They open at 11 am on Saturday, but the nice man who took my order (I think it was the owner and head chef) didn't mention not being open. He gladly took my order. All that said, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and they weren't even open yet! If you are in this part of NJ and want Mexican food, then I would recommend that you...
