Tesoro Macaron Company — Restaurant in Swedesboro

Stopped by the Swedesboro location for the first time today. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and there were only a few cupcakes left. Basically sold out within 15 minutes of opening. That’s how you know they’re good! I got a Lucky Charm cupcake and a chocolate cupcake. But those weren’t all I went for… I got an assortment of 12 macarons. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful. I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. I wanted to so desperately like this place, especially since macaron places in the area are few and far in between. I’m from the city but come here often for family. I’ve been to both locations, three times in total. Every time the Macs have been dry and old. The first time, I emailed and was given a gift card, so I tried again. The same result. My husband and I were craving a sweet treat and wanted to support local small business so we popped in. The inside is so cute. Perfect for a bakery.

The macarons… amazing. 10/10 recommend the pumpkin pie macarons if you’re in the mood for fall. The chai and cookie dough ones are also great.

Another nice thing was that the owner was working there. We think that speaks volumes to a business owner running their own establishment. We’ll definitely be back and plan to order there for...
