What a charming little establishment! I find myself wishing I had ordered the guacamole, especially since it's featured in the restaurant's name, but I’ll save that delightful option for my next visit. The crunchy beef taco was quite standard, so if you decide to go, you might want to consider a different choice, perhaps the birria! I did notice that the entrees did not include sides like rice or beans, which is something many other restaurants typically offer without the extra cost. The elote was just average, but I absolutely loved the agua de Jamaica; it was wonderfully refreshing. Maria’s was fantastic today! I’m not normally a fan of Mexican food but once in a while I can crave a good burrito. Maria’s definitely fulfilled that craving today!

It’s located in downtown Woonsocket with a convenient parking lot only steps from the restaurant. The place itself is cute with sombreros for lights and brightly colored. I liked that! Maria was a fantastic waitress and all of the staff made us feel right at home.

The menu was large with many interesting options. We opted for a passion fruit agua Fresca, mole burrito, and California burrito. Everything tasted fresh and was packed with flavor. The portion sizes for the price was also very reasonable.

Wife and I stopped in to try it out. Birria tacos and carnitas street tacos. Absolutely fantastic. The Birria isn’t drenched and greasy and the carnitas had a great (almost nutmeg) sweetness to them. The green sauce wasn’t spicy at all. Everything we had was phenomenal. Maria (I believe owner) also brought us a papusa as I saw her making them and asked. It was outstanding. The slaw, the sauce, the crisp on the papusa. Horchata, a 10. She even sent us home with a flan for our son.
