River Island Art Park — Attraction in Woonsocket

I used to love coming here to take pictures of the flowers, i do bring my cat sometimes (weird i know, but he loves it) but lately the state of the park (and i dont mean the construction of the new stage) has been atrocious The trash scattered, especially down by the water, the drug paraphanalia, not to mention people using in broad daylight all around, the evidence of people living there (and not cleaning up after themselves)...the list could continue, but essentially what used to be a beautiful park to bring family and just enjoy has become dirty and a place i warn parents to keep children either really close to them, or just avoid...

Great place to hang out, especially in the summer months. Every Friday night in the summer, they host food trucks and live music. Events go on here periodically throughout the year.

8.6.21 Woonsocket has free concerts every Friday. Original singer song writer's. Been going for the past three weeks and enjoyed myself and been impressed with all the artists preforming. Food trucks go. Alien ice cream. Great combo of family fun. Go before it ends...
