Best Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Worcester

Ordered the A8 chicken finger, boneless spareribs. Crab ragoons with pork fried rice and veggie spring roll and can soda $15.60. Only reason I came here was because I was on this side of town and nostalgia and hunger hit. I used to eat here all the time growing up and remembered the food being so good. I came in started placing my order and waited 24 minutes, 14 minutes passed the 10 minutes they said. But hey I’m getting good food so I’m going to be patient. Get to where I’m going that’s about a 3 minute drive , all excited to finally eat! Boy oh boy was I disappointed! First 4 small pieces of boneless spare ribs , 2 crab Ragoons and a massive and overwhelming amount of chicken fingers. I’m hungry I’m going for it. Chicken fingers looked like they were refried after sitting for a while in old oil, even taking the breading off it’s completely un- edible , I turn to the 4 pieces of ribs hoping it’s atleast edible try to take a bite and it’s so hard it’s like a jerky. Hadn't been here in years. Stopped in today because I was nearby. Ordered an appetizer combo plate with boneless spare ribs, chicken fingers, beef teriyaki and pork fried rice. I was very disappointed when I got home!! It took forever yet everything was refried, microwaved or flavorless. The beef teriyaki was precooked and frozen and they just threw it in the fryer while frozen (I watched them do this), it was dry and almost flavorless. The chicken fingers were tiny and very well done so they were dry inside and oddly not crispy even though they fried them. The boneless spare ribs were also dry and nearly flavorless. They were stuck together like when you microwave something a little too long. I'm pretty sure I heard a microwave door open and close a few times even though you can't see what they are doing in the back. The rice was not fresh either and had no flavor or vegetables (onions, sprouts, etc). Just overall not good. None of it was fresh!!! I really wanted to like this place, the reviews are all over the place and I am guessing it has to do with different owners. I had a long drive and was trying to find a meeting point for our parents who were craving some good Chinese Food. Well, with the name, we thought this might work out as it was the best between two points. As many have said recently, the food was very bland, lack not just spice but also flavor. I thought perhaps it was just me but of the 7 people in our group 5 didn't want to follow through with the meal and when leftovers were taken to other family members the same response was given, "I mean it is not terrible but it is not good".
