BIGGEST TRIFT STORE IN WORCESTER. . . Absolutely love the concept. Buying used things and donating. Most of all Saving cash, Recycling, good for the environment . . What you can find :- furniture, electronic , kitchen ware, construction stuff , carpets Most of the employee’s are really helpful as much as they can. . . Most often you can get some good stuff. But remember there are few items the sticker prices are the same or even more compared to brand new in store so don’t impulse buy !

Beware donating materials. After a phone call that confirmed they were taking drywall over 3', the person receiving donations rejected them saying they already had enough. Half a day wasted.

The place is really junky and gross, and the furniture is way over priced. Isn't this supposed to help people in need furnish their homes? So why charge $50-70 on bad furniture?

UPDATE: I have received a few emails from Kevin M, the ReStore Director, regarding this issue. He REFUSES to acknowledge that this 'arrangement' to siphon off the best merchandise to enrich a single reseller has ended, so it seemingly continues with the blessing of the Habitat for Humanity upper management. This is a highly unfair business practice and I don't recommend anyone looking for quality furniture to bother visiting this store, as it apparently gets claimed off the truck with impunity. He instead said that they will continue to enforce existing store policy that nobody is allowed in the back room, as if that is the slightest bit helpful in this instance.

ORIGINAL POST: I tried to purchase a dresser here yesterday that was on the loading dock, was told by THE STORE MANAGER that it wasn’t for sale because a reseller named Gary has “an arrangement” with the pickup driver to have first dibs on any mid century furniture that comes into the store.

So basically a reseller is paying off a delivery driver to get first dibs, and all of it is seemingly a-ok with the store management, I was told “because he’s our best driver”. This is utter nonsense and complete disservice to the organization and the community it serves, only serving to benefit one specific dealer who’s paying off a guy.

Shame on habitat for humanity and this restore for allowing this corrupt behavior. I emailed upper management about this issue and...

The STAFF at this store is EXCEPTIONAL. THEYRE KIND HELPFUL thoughtful!! John Casey Donna make it. PLEASURE TO SHOP. BUT Gary removes aged items that are priced too low from the floor only to put them back with new tags!!! Wrong!!! The manager OVER PRICES EVERYTHING Some of the tickets ers are removed and later dates put on the sofas and tables etc for profits. It’s wrong. I’m I nice but one day he just decided not to speak back!!!! Why. Just awful customer service. I notice EVERYTHING THE INVENTORY IS DONATED Why is he charging SO MUCH??????? Cluttered messy and...

Honestly, disappointing. I'm an avid thrifter and lately I rarely leave with anything when I stop here. The furniture is INSANELY overpriced- not even considering the new donation stuff, but the OLD, dated stuff is so expensive for what it is. It was honestly shocking to see some of the prices. The small home decor section is priced slightly better but it's still much higher than most other thrifts/non profits. I liked to shop here because I like what they do for the community, but honestly the pricing of the donated items is just way too high to warrant...
