New China Lantern — Restaurant in Worcester

First off the food took way to long to show up, you would think that taking long to arrive means there were cooking our food with love but nope that's not the case. If you ask me the food is disgusting and disgraceful.

#1 the chicken was way over cooked and tasted like a dry nutsack not trying to be mean but ya.

#2 the rice was super bland and has no flavor at all, tasted like cardboard

#3 the crab ragoons, God don't get me started on that, crab ragoons are my favorite thing. Something I've been getting everytime I have Chinese food and this just really really upset me.

Got delivery through Urber and the delivery was great! But the food was honestly some of the worse Chinese food I have ever had. I got Plain fried rice and my husband got pork fried rice and they both looked the same and both where uncooked and tasted like plastic. We also both go the chicken finger, beef teriyaki and crab ragoon plate. The ragoons and chicken fingers where old, you can tell they had been sitting there all day. And the teriyaki had decent taste but where also older. Duck sauce they give tasted like "dirty farts" as my husband would describe. Unfortunately we just ended up throwing the food out. We will never be ordering...

I love the food here. A go-to takeout spot. Great flavor, good portion sizes for the price, good variety and options for vegans/vegetarians. The staff is nice whenever I pick up my food. There's no real ambience or reason to eat-in tbh, I have never felt compelled to do so. There are some tables for those students who may want to grab a quick bite just in case but it's all very utilitarian, probably because of the building being old and the neighborhood not getting the love it deserves outside of Clark.
