Paradise Pizza — Restaurant in Worcester

#9 on the Worcester Pizza Quest Next on my list is Paradise Pizza, its located right across the street from a children's baseball park as your going towards auburn. This was another place I have driven by but never stopped until this Worcester Pizza Quest. I dialed the number and a very pleasant woman answered the phone. It was a happy phone conversation. I ordered a large cheese. I arrived at the restaurant it's a small place with a table or two you can see and eat. This is a very clean restaurant and a great view of the children's baseball field. I bet a lot of parents and kids love seeing Paradise pizza across the street. I was pleasantly greeted but two people happily working away. The pizza was under $10. Took it home opened the box, man the bread style pizza seems to be the pizza of Worcester. I would love to know why. The pizza was crisp and perfectly cooked, it had the right amount of cheese on it. But it was drab and blah. It was just a simple pizza sauce and cheese, it seems as though no spices were added to the sauce. It was disappointing, I actually had to go the spice rack, grab the Italian spices to add flavor to my slices. This was a very bland and boring pizza was it eatable yeah but would I go back no. the people there were very pleasant and the restaurant very clean. Me and mine have been ordering from Paradise for over a decade. It was one of my favorite neighborhood places to eat. I'm saddened to say that over the last year there has been a steady decline in quality of food, delivery service and even with the people taking the orders over the phone. Tonight for the first time ever in my life I had a BURNT steak and cheese! The whole sub tasted so awful!!! For the first time (with Paradise ) I wasn't looking forward to reheating my left over piece of sub for later tonight. Let's not forget the order I had to repeat three times over the phone (this has become the norm) and still somehow they either screw up the order or forget something. Tonight I got burnt subs and of course, they forgot my two liter of Coke (I repeated I wanted four times.) And still thru all this I always give, at the very least, a five dollar tip to the delivery kid. Well I'm sad to say no more. Tonight was the last night for me. Steak and cheese at Paradise was my favorite and now even that isnt good there anymore. I don't know what happened Paradise but you just aren't the same. Too bad so sad! 😥 And P.S. The Pizza Maker Knowledge How To Do Same. The Preparation Of The Dough, Vegetables, Meats, And Sauce. Bringing All These Different Food Groups Together As One. Easier Said Then Done! We Ordered A Paradise Special. Light Sauce And Cheese. Cooked Until Dough Is Crispy. Steak Grinder, Mushrooms, Onions And Cheese. (Toasted Well). Delivery. Arrived On Time. The Pizza Was Excellent! The Foundation Of The Cooked Tough Held Together And Supported The Toppings! Vegetables Were Fresh And Crispy! Meats Were Favorable And Not Greasey. The Steak Grinder Very Good. Cooked As Ordered! The Steak Was Favorable And Moist. Vegetables: Very Nice! The Grinder Roll Was Fresh. When A Grinder Roll Is Not Fresh. It Crumbles And Falls Apart Because It Has Dried Out!
