An absolutely amazing establishment! From the intimate but bustling environment, to the deliciously crafted, locally sourced food - Ruby Doo’s offers the city of Worcester a true opportunity to divulge, splurge, and return home a very happy camper!
When you walk up to Ruby’s, you’re immediately greeted at the front by the head Chef and owner - who named the restaurant after and, from time to time, hosts - his daughter! Take a seat at their L-shape space; a seat in the back for a more intimate experience and conversation with the bartender. If you have the pleasure of being served by Meg - tell her she’s amazing and then enjoy the delicious drink she’s about to make you!
While Meg makes you a drink, expect dishes to appear, hand delivered by the chefs on hand and expertly crafted. Wait! Prepare yourself! Let’s start with house-made, fresh kimchi, including your typical cabbage, but also, sweet potato leaves, cucumber, mustard green, and more. Accompany that with perfectly steamed rice - one has to wonder what comes next!
Wonder not - I ordered the Chicken Katsu! Absolutely amazing! Crispy, drizzled with the perfect amount of sauce and topped with sweet potato leaf kimchi. Divine, if I’m being honest! I immediately texted my girlfriend and told her that I would mind choosing this as my last meal 🙃🤣
The drinks were stiff, delicious, and always followed by the kind of banter you desire from a bartender and crew.
I got the beef rib Galbi & watermelon rind kimchi to-go … best decision ever!
Needless to say, you won’t ever be disappointed when going to Ruby Doo’s. One can only wish them great success and long lived happiness! I will be back - always!

Read moreIf I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, the energy was vibrant, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the amazing service from Meg and Drew. Meg, balancing both bartender and waiter duties flawlessly, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Drew and the kitchen team absolutely knocked it out of the park with the food.
Speaking of the food—every dish was a masterpiece. The better fried rice was packed with smoky, savory goodness, with each bite delivering bold, well-balanced flavors. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a sauce that hit all the right notes—sweet, spicy, and absolutely addictive. And then there was the Hanh Bolognese, a unique and delicious twist on a classic that blended deep flavors with the perfect amount of heat.
Meg’s outstanding service and killer cocktails, combined with Drew’s incredible food, made this an experience to remember. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out with amazing food, expertly crafted drinks, and top-tier service, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely...
Read moreIt’s rare to find a place where every dish delights you in a completely different way. This chef is not here to play games, the dishes are all super authentic Korean with slight twists to reflect the chef’s upbringing as a first generation Korean-American.
For the foundation of the meal, the homemade kimchi is incredible, and the rice is obviously cooked to perfection. From there the dishes are a bit more playful, great fried chicken for those who are new to Korean food, or for those with more interest in Korean cuisine, he offers an absolute masterpiece of a jjigae and a playful take on tteokbokki to make it a bit more like gnocchi.
The cocktail & alcohol program is great as well. Soju cocktails and seltzers, and some more fun shots for those who have a wild side within them.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Go here now.
