I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but our experience here was beyond disappointing and honestly quite creepy.
The food was not good at all — it didn’t match the instructions we clearly gave while ordering. When we politely raised the issue, instead of handling it professionally, the manager became defensive and started arguing with us. He told us we should’ve said something earlier (which we already did), and bizarrely started asking personal questions like, “Where are you from?” — which was completely inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable.
To make things worse, we were simply laughing and talking with our friends, trying to shake off the bad experience, and he came up to us and asked, “Why are you laughing, what’s funny?” Seriously? Since when is it unacceptable to laugh with your friends?
We still paid the full bill for food we didn’t even eat, just to avoid further escalation. But it didn’t end there. After we left, the manager actually came outside and started watching us to see where we were going — which was extremely creepy and uncalled for.
This entire experience felt intrusive and unsettling. If you care about your peace of mind and basic respect, I would strongly recommend staying away...
Read moreWent to Momo Palace for the first time today. We were delighted and we will definitely be back soon.
We got a split order of chicken momos (4 steamed, 4 fried), an order of fried pork momos, an order of thukpa, and a chili lemonade. Three sauces were served with the momos: one similar to sambal oelek, one with Sriracha, and the other I'm not sure of...but they were delicious and complimented the momos.
Everything was absolutely outstanding. The service? Prompt, pleasant, flawless.
(A momo is a dumpling somewhat similar to a Peking ravioli, but originating from Tibet. And thukpa is a wonderful soup with noodles, lots of pungent vegetables, and a lovely broth.)
It was so good that I jumped up off my chair and thanked the man behind the counter for serving such wonderful food.
Run to the Worcester Public Market and try some. You'll be...
Read moreA little taste of Nepalese cuisine. I’ve never tried what the establishment refers to as a, “momos,” but yummy indeed! This little shop is set up right at the public market. The dumplings can come fried or steamed and I’ve tried both and would give both a thumbs up. Good filling, flavorful, and new, to me. Now they don’t have a huge menu, but I suggest you should try it regardless. Minimal seating near the establishment itself but plenty of others elsewhere. The wait time wasn’t too bad and the workers were nice and answered questions. As far as parking goes, there are a lot of spots but then again there are those days where even then it’s difficult...
