The positive reviews on here are NO BULL! On Valentine's day hubby and I decided after about a year to go out to dinner. Despite having bad luck with other local Thai restaurants we wanted to try again hoping to have a better experience like we've had in NYC & Boston. So I checked Google. In the past the reviews haven't always been good to us but still decided to try Thai Corner. We were greeted by a nicely decorated, clean establishment & a friendly server. We started off with the app platter.. It came out quickly, crispy & flavorful without any residual oil aftertaste. They have hands down the best crispy spring rolls we've EVER had! And don't even get me started on the peanut sauce- yummy and airy almost whipped like. I ordered the lemongrass with seafood as I couldn't decide which I wanted scallops, squid, shrimp or muscles. So they did them all. I was very leery as scallops and squid can be hit or miss because they tend to be overcooked and chewy BUT this was not an issue! All were so tender and full of flavor. It was so good! Even their sticky rice was cooked perfect-not a grain was undergone or overdone. If a place makes sure that a simple side as rice is perfect you know they take pride in their food. My hubby ordered a noodlily soup Khao Soi that had again a perfectly flavored broth that balanced sweet coconut milk and spicy. I'm a Tom Yum & Pho girl but this quickly replaced them as my favs. At the end of dinner the owner came out & she was kind enough to give us a dessert for Valentine's of mango, sticky rice & coconut milk. It was a perfect ending to a great Thai meal!! All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Bathroom was spotlessly clean too..There was not one negative thing I can say about our dinner. It was great from beginning to end and now that we havefound this spot we will be enjoying Thai food more often as this place may become a favorite of ours. I recommend giving them a try I highly doubt you'll be...

On the corner of June St. and Chandler, you will find a small slice of heaven if you are in the mood for Thai food. We ordered a take out meal last night without checking reviews and went in with no expectation that we were about to have the most delicious meal we’ve had in years. We ordered several dishes to sample this new restaurant and each was memorable.
We started with Tom Yum Soup with shrimp, perfectly spiced and a perfect introduction to the tastes to come. We moved on to the crispy Brussels sprouts, which were subtly spiced and perfectly cooked, there is a tendency to undercook, but Thai Corner got them just right. The Thai Soft Spring Rolls are also not to be missed, stuffed with chicken, veggies and basil and accompanied by a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. We ended the appetizer course with the Scallion Pancakes, and again, you hit the nail on the head. Crispy, flaky, light and delicious.
For the main courses we chose the Chicken Red Curry, hot, spicy with bamboo shoots, peppers, broccoli and basil, and the Orange Chicken from the specialties menu, simmered in orange and served with mixed vegetables. The “Corner Fried Rice” made an excellent side to the curry and orange chicken, a perfect blend of egg, peas, onions, carrots and scallions.
I’m happily giving a five star review to your restaurant, a rating I hand out very rarely. When the Covid crisis is over, I’m certain you will have a non-socially distanced line snaking from your front door around the block, and I will happily stand in it in anticipation of another excellent...
Read moreWe are from out of state and decided to visit here due to the highly rated reviews. It was a HUGE disappointment. Honestly, this was the worst Thai restaurant that I have been to yet...the food presentation was great, but the taste was horrible. My husband had the seafood pad thai and I had the orange duck. Both meals tasted frozen and the orange duck sauce was made with some sort of canned mandarin orange which made the sauce super sweet and watery. The thai tea was even disappointing because it tasted like the tea was old and stale. It seems like the staff tried to cover up the stale taste by adding extra cream 😐 The tom yum soup was the only decent food item that we had.
We were the only ones there and barely had any service. We paid close to $90 for two dinners, two soups, and one thai tea. Definitely was not worth paying for!!
Food was NOT authentic and NOT fresh. 0/10, would not recommend.
update: owner left a reply saying that they strive for freshness, excellence, etc. I'm sorry, but I don't believe that you strive for freshness at all. If you did, the seafood in the pad thai wouldn't have the bite of eating a popsicle, which confirms that it was frozen for a while. I have worked at a thai restaurant and frequent asian restaurants often. The pad thai taste was there, but NOT...
