Unfortunately, this is the closest Chipotle to me but I will continue to make the drive to Oak Lawn or Beverly. When we walked up to the establishment there was a gentleman who was sitting outside on the curb scrolling on his phone. We walked in, and were not greeted at all. Everything was either low or completely empty. The same gentleman who was sitting outside on the curb miraculously appeared behind the counter to flirt with a woman in front of me. He must be of some higher ranking because he gave her free food and said âyou donât have to charge her for thisâ to the girl behind the counter. After sitting down and attempting to enjoy my bowl, I noticed that there were periods of absolutely NO ONE behind the counter. There were spills all around their very sticky floors, tables were not clean, and the pitchers of tea & lemonade were empty. What caught me most by surprise was that the gentleman who was sitting outside came back inside yet again with the COOK who still had his apron on. I immediately lost my appetite. We wrapped up our things while hearing them tell every customer who walked in âWeâre out of chipotle chicken, fajitas, and pinto beans!â. All the while, if they hadnât been away from the floor, things couldâve been made for customers to order. This location should be either shut down or ran by new management because that was a complete joke. While on our way out, the SAME GUY was sitting outside on the curb AGAIN with his shoes kicked off and scrolling on his phone. All while the patio area next to him had seats tipped over, the tables were sticky, and there were cups and forks all over. It was so exciting to see Evergreen Park add a Chipotle to 95th street, but next time weâll...
Read moreI wanted so badly to be able to come here and give a better review than the ones Iâve been seeing, but unfortunately I had pretty much the same experience as everyone else. I had a coupon for a free entree so I figured it couldnât hurt to try. The restaurant was fairly empty and slow around 8 when I went and upon walking it there was trash on the floor and on several tables despite no one eating in. There was more than enough staff there for the lobby to be clean (about 5 people behind the register). Once I got in line they yellow (no black beans and no white rice) which I donât get anyway so it didnât bother me but i can see why it would bother most as those are popular items. Once I got to the end i noticed there also were no fajita veggies out at all which wasnât mentioned with the rice and beans. Once I was checking out they rung me up for someone else food even though the young man told the young lady at the counter several times that it was for a different person. My entree was free so i didnât mind but i couldâve easily been charged way more if I was paying. What I can say is that I did not experience the small portions that a lot of others mentioned. The portions were nice and the chicken was very flavorful. The service wasnât outstanding but for a group of young kids Iâd say it wasnât bad at all. No one was rude at all. There seems to be no management there either and if it was they are also very young. Hopefully they read these reviews and respond accordingly. It has potential as itâs in...
Read moreJust left Chipotle maybe 20 minutes ago and as I'm eating my tacos the pinto beans have almost a sour or tart taste to them. There's also an after taste. The rice and steak has no flavor.
I thought with this being a new location it would be great. I'm starting to hate going to establishments with all black workers because they make us look BAD. First, the atmosphere was chaotic. There were already a lot of customers in there then I guess I missed the memo that it was bring all 5 of your kids to work and let them sit where potential patrons can no longer sit and let them scream at the top of their lungs. Made the environment almost stressful. Then I asked for a burrito bowl and 3 hard shells steak tacos. Well there were no hard shells out so the guy had to go to the back. We get to the end of my order where you put on the toppings and I ask for lettuce. He scrapes the lettuce from the bottom of the bin and puts the 5 pieces he picked up on only 2 of my tacos. Then when we get to my burrito bowl, he doesn't even ask if I want toppings he just slides it right through and I had to say I want the same toppings on it. We get to the lettuce, doesn't go get any lettuce, just tries to close my bowl after I said corn, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. I had to say, so is there no lettuce at all? Someone had to go in the back and get some lettuce. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! I should've went with my first mind and went to the one off 95th and western. I would drive all the way to New Lenox before I come to this...
