I eat here every so often, mostly stop in for pizza with my son. This is the 3rd time I have actually sat in to eat and I love the food! Our waiter was really nice. Here are the downfalls, 1. The hostess, when I came in she was on her phone texting (than again what can I expect from a high schooler) when I asked for a booth she said they are reserved , than as we're passing a table that was a semi-booth she said that is reserved so we sat at a table in the back, honestly it was fine but for her to tell me that out table was the only table left is insane especially when I'm sitting next to 3 open tables. Than when I asked to wrap the food the guy that is clearing the table had an attitude . Look if you don't like your job than look for something different, your working in a moderate price restaurant in a nice area, either put on a fake smile or go somewhere else . It really makes me not want to eat here anymore. I'll keep it...

I had one of the poorest experiences I have ever had at this pizzeria. I am embarrassed to have spent my money here.

The food: average and not an ounce more.

I spent 48 dollars on ONE pizza and one small Cesar salad. I asked for a small side of parm cheese because it was a pick up order. I was blown away with the response that I got from their employee. “I have to charge you a dollar for parm cheese. It’s a new policy from our owner.” This is despicable. Almost 35 dollars for a pizza and 13 for a side salad and you need to charge me for a sprinkle of Parm cheese for her to go order that I would not have to pay for if I dined in? The owner and this establishment should be embarrassed for the way that it treats the people that keep it...

We ordered the Nonna Pie a while back, and it was certainly delicious- fresh crushed tomatoes, basil, and house-made mozzarella- you can taste the quality of the ingredients. It's certainly better than the regular cheese pie in many ways. However, one thing we didn't like was that it had too much oil and that the crust seemed to be overcooked. So when we called again to order, we were a little reluctant to ask, but we asked if they could make it with light olive oil drizzled on top and cooked a little less than usual. They happily fulfilled our request and it turned out completely perfect. I really appreciated the time they took in making it special for us; I know not everyone has the time, especially during rush hour....

Pizzeria Mandara is a great place for a quick bite or a longer sit down lunch. There's counter service or table service. The restaurant can accommodate both small and large parties. The restaurant serves and Italian menu andd selections include a comprehensive list of appetizers such as antipasto, calamari and fried zucchini. Main courses range from salads and sandwiches to full dinner selections such as pasta and chicken. Food is well prepared. Service is excellent. The environment is generally quiet with nice background music. There's lots of parking in the outside lot. I've enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant and I'll definitely be returning.

We’ve been fans of Mandara for years. We love their pizzas. But their pastas, salads and meat/poultry entrees can’t be beat. The warm chicken arugula/shitake salad is incredible the chicken and mushrooms are caramelized and perfectly seasoned. The dressing is amazing. My husband orders it every time we come. We both love their mussels in fra diavolo sauce as an antipasto course. And one of their fish, veal, chicken or pork specials is a welcome experience. Save room for dessert (their servings are generous, so plan ahead!). Luscious and large enough to share. Great place for lunch with friends or family dinners. Make a reservation if you can.

Charged my poor mom 45 dollars for 1 meal posing as vodka cream sauce and another Pomordini that looked like it tasted.... RAGU JAR SAUCE with slimy onions. I had to post a picture of this food joke that looks like macaroni and butter (Vodka cream sauce disguising as a 25$ dish) Not to mention the obvious frozen chicken that came from a Restaurant Depot wholesale bag. I hear that the owners are from Italy. How is this possible when these dishes look like an acceptable meal in a rural Kansas town? Shame. Contact me ASAP if you guys have any decency. This is a culinary disgrace.
