This Dairy Queen location sets the bar for what every Dairy Queen should strive to be. Quick, friendly, and accurate staff that really goes above and beyond to make you and your family feel welcome. Don't let a line fool you, because these guys and gals know how to get your order out promptly and efficiently. Did I mention how CLEAN this establishment is?! It's impeccable. As someone who has lived in many different states, visiting another Dairy Queen just feels like a let down when I have to look back and remember what true service is all about. I'm glad I've gotten to visit this location again recently. If you haven't been here yet, you're truly missing out on a phenomenal ice cream experience! Did you need a cake? This location has staff DEDICATED to making cakes that have been doing this for many many years. Also, if you haven't had a Dairy Queen ice cream cake, you should apologize to yourself, pat yourself on the back, get up and order yourself an 8 inch Blizzard cake, and realize what you've been missing. All in all, I mean every word that I say, I used to work here when I was younger, and the management here runs a tight ship to make sure that the customers get their orders accurately and presentable in a timely fashion, but have also made sure that their employees feel valued. I’ve been coming to Dairy Queen for over 50 years, and over 20 years at this specific location. However, after my recent experience, I will not be returning.

I visited the Wyckoff location with my family, and my 10-year-old son tried some sort of cherry vanilla hard ice cream. He didn’t like it at all and said it tasted like medicine. I kindly went back to the window and asked if they could swap it for something else, but the teenage employees at the window were rude and insisted they couldn’t take it back. After explaining that my son loves Dairy Queen, they still refused, saying they couldn’t refund it.

I asked for the manager, and while I explained that I’ve been a loyal customer for decades, I was only asking for a simple swap to a classic chocolate flavor. The manager also refused to help, though he said if my son dropped the ice cream, they’d replace it. Go figure. Eventually, they gave us another variety, but it was clear they were upset about it.

To make matters worse, there were a bunch of young, disrespectful kids outside, cursing, adding to the negative experience. After more than 20 years of loyalty to this location, I will not...

OMG !!! First time ever I order an ice cream cake here. Went in Monday and spoke with Linda. She mentiined the options on flavors and how I can rainbow sprinkles to assure the nut free school policy. I spoke with my nephew and of course he went crazy for the option of m&m blizzard flavor with center of rainbow sprinkles and top just vanilla. Tuesday I placed the order and emailed 2 photos of the design I wanted. Wednesday we had a storm and Thursday Linda called, from her personal phone. Notified me that there was no power but the location in saddle brook did have power and discussed options for cake to be delivered or picked up to assure my nephew will have his cake on time. Today, Friday, she called and notified power was back on and she can have it in the Wyckoff location. Linda is great and I can honestly say her looping me was amazing!
