Phở Street Cafe — Restaurant in Wylie

I am a regular here. Well I was. Not anymore for sure. I hardly ever leave reviews and don't care to but this time I do feel that I have to. Loved the food and location was convenient. Come here all the time for Pho or BBH or Lemongrass grill pork. Today I went there at around 2:40. Before I went there I called to place my order for pick up. A young girl answered the phone(it was first time her answering for me, Its usually someone else) I said hello. She kept on saying hello hello like 5 times. I'm saying hello can you hear me. She then goes what can I get for you with an attitude. Told her what i wanted. I placed my order. I get there to pay for my order and pick it up. The young girl who answered the phone and took my order was there. She asked me if I wanted an receipt I said yes. Came home. Ate the food and didn't look at the receipt until now. The young girl wrote "FU" on the receipt. I think she's daughter of the owner. Your disrespectful daughter is ruining your business. Up until today I've never looked at their Google reviews, I do see all the 1 star reviews stating young lady being rude. I understand and know exactly who they're reffering to. First time experience and would be returning , I was on the hunt with a pho spot that has chili oil and this restaurant did not disappoint at all. Upon entering you place your order and sit down anywhere they have many tasty options . I went the shrimp spring rolls along with the chicken pho ; my significant other had the beef pho . We shared the appetizer it comes with 2 spring rolls and they were fresh and tasty especially with the peanut sauce and I’ve never tried peanut sauce until now and it’s yummy. The phos’ came with all your normal toppings to the side , the flavor of the broths are super flavorful and not bland at all . I got the regular size and those are pretty big itself my boyfriend had the large size and it was huge . So you def get a good amount for the price in my opinion . I recommend just ordering a drink from the fridge or teas ect the fountain drinks were flat . Great people behind the counter and great energy . I would def give this spot a try . Also the amount of meat that came in the bowls were a lot too 😉the meat is a bit tougher side though , I prefer tender meat . My significant other had a hair on the side of his beef pho and the offered to replace it...

At 6:30pm entered a restaurant with 8 patrons seated and waiting for food. Placed my to go order and proceeded to watch the most disorganized staff I've ever seen do everything wrong. The counter person and the cook could have been working at different restaurants they were so disconnected.

After 30 minutes I asked what happened to my order and was told that because I ordered some fried items it takes longer. (insult to injury my fried items had been sitting in their foam containers for at least 15 minutes by that time)

I ended up sitting with another patron that was waiting for their to go food and we had a great discussion about customer service and how so many people seem to lack the sensibilities that make for a positive dining experience.

Finally received my food, two entrees and three fried items, after waiting 47 minutes!

On the drive home I called the owner and was given some excuse about a party or event that impacted their ability to serve customers. No "please come back and we'll do better" just excuses!

The food was average ,except for the fried items that were cold and wet, but the experience was enough to prompt me to warn folks away from this...
