You would think I would learn. Just got back from there. Ordered Strawberry Pecan Salad. As they were placing the salad on the table that is when they told me they did not have strawberries for it. They asked if I wanted something different. I told them no because I would have to wait another 30 minutes before I got it. I wanted the strawberries. That is part of the reason I ordered it. Not having the strawberries in itself was not a big deal but that was the last straw. The last time we were there the waiter forget to put in our order. We waited forever and were about to just get up and leave. Others had gotten their meal. That meal was comped. One time before another waiter had taken a long time to put in our order. He actually came up and told us he had gotten to 'shootin the bull' (replace bull with appropriate s word.) Another time something else happened where we were not getting our meal A very young lady came out to offer us chips and salsa for the long wait.. We sent them back because we didn't want them. We just wanted our meal. Undoubtedly, that upset her and another employee told us she was a new manager. That came across as if we were being difficult. We just didn't want the chips and salsa. We went knowing that something else could go wrong and it did. I hear the 'sorry' which rings hollow because they seem to not fix their issues. This last time I got pretty ticked and started reading the riot act to the manager. I told him there was nothing he can do to compensate, just fix the problems. At that point I am done with that Cotton Patch location and told him there is nothing he can do to fix it. That means I'm done giving the place the benefit of the doubt. Tired of hearing 'sorry' and they keep doing the same thing. I let myself become a butt head when I should have stopped some time back. Gave them to many benefits of the doubt and made myself look bad in the end. I don't have plans...
Read moreFirst time to visit this location and it was the most horrible visit to a Cotton Patch ever (and we've been to a lot of locations). Granted, we arrived 15 minutes before closing time so we weren't all that surprised that they were completely out of bread...the waitress said that's always the case at this time every night. Next issue was that we were the only people there but had to go find her to come take our order (she was apparently too busy doing her closing duties to be bothered with her customers). Then I ordered an entree that I always get with a baked potato only to find out when she arrived with the food that they didn't have any more potatoes because as she stated "they already threw them out for the night"...she then said that the manager told her that they could give me some mashed potatoes instead and put the baked potato toppings on it and since I didn't have any other choice I agreed. Then she showed up with the mashed potatoes with a topping on it that I had specifically asked her to leave off. After we finished eating we had to go track her down yet again to get our bill. Then she brings it to the table and says "I'll get that when you're ready" and my husband said "we are ready" but she walked off anyway like she didn't hear him. So, we waited about 5 minutes and had to (once again) go find her in order to pay our bill. She was busy standing around talking to one of the cooks when we found her and informed her that we had already told her that we were ready to pay when she had dropped off the bill. Read moreOrdered via the CottonPatch app. Our food was never picked up by YOUR delivery service, therefore, we never received our food. I called the restaurant to inquire about our order, and the hostess who answered was extremely unhelpful and rude. She stated that she has no control over who our delivery driver was. The correct way to handle this would have been to get her manager, but instead, she wanted to say that I was being rude to her. Excuse me? I also work in customer service, specifically a BUSY Urgent Care center, where I take care of sick people all day. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me. I then asked to speak to her manager. The hostess then went to say “This is why people don’t want to work customer service.” She never gave me her name, and put me on hold. The manager never came on the call. I had to CALL BACK, and ask for the manager, who said his name was Boz. Boz had no idea who you guys use for delivery. No one knew how to contact the driver, and I was never offered any type of comp for the inconvenience, frustration, and for never receiving our food. I then get a text that our order was CANCELLED, when we did not cancel our order! I finally just asked Boz to refund me. We usually order from this location all the time, however, this will be the LAST time we order from you. I am now waiting for a refund from my order, which will no doubt take 5 business days.
