Lived in Wyoming for almost 13 years and until last winter we never knew they were located a couple blocked from our house! The first time we order 6 XL pizzas 4 Breads sticks and a Manocotti Dinner couple 2 litters n Cheesecake it was at the hotel for my girls bday party and they had coupons and ads in our room! No one at the party had heard or tried the place before so we held our breaths it would be good n the 20+ guest would like it and not be disappointed! Well put it this way every guest at the party ended up having seconds and there wasn't so much as bread crumbs left over! We were impressed and super pleased! After the bday party we "forgot" about the place n didn't order again until I drove by the store (again we got delivery the first time and the hotel was a good 10-20min drive away so we didn't know they were really located a couple blocks from our house! So last week I got out of work and ordered a Manocotti Dinner again...it was nothing like I had remembered of the 1st time and the kiddos wouldn't take more than 2 bites of it! The sauce tasted strange...like almost sour?! Idk....garlic bread was squished as flat as a pancake n the most off putting was the oil/fake butter n barely any garlic flavor to it...that was until I tried the Manocotti...it was A. Border line refrigerator could at the edges even! It was or at least that's all we could all taste was no pasta but HUGE AMOUNTS of Ricotta Cheese/Parm cheese that u got by the mouth full each bite and even tho there was sauce it was crusted/Mozz on top was burnt n chewy and again the weird sour/boarderline over cooked sausagey tasting sauce! So after that experience we decided to take a cheaper route n tonight we order 1 slice of pizza for me and one slice of 🍕 for my husband and tho it was SUPER HOT as becuz of second experience we had I asked them for them too "double" warm it in the oven...he did...it was just ok...maybe cuz it was so good the very first time we "expected/wanted it so bad to be equivalently as good? I mean it wasnt cold...but was just mehhh... idk what to think about it really...little disappointed as I already know how delicious it really can be? Did the recipes change/workers/managers/food suppliers change? Idk kind of...
Read moreI grew up with a small pizza place in town called Ports of Call that had the best pizza oven baked type pizza I've ever had. Think like Italian pizzeria style pizza where they put it on the long wooden thing and slide it in to the oven, not like a deep dish super greasy pizza from Jets or anything. I grew up on this pizza and it literally has fun childhood memories for me. My mother's favorite pizza was simply ham and mushrooms and I remember eating it often. They went out of business probably 20 years ago and I can still taste it today but I've had a hard time finding any other pizza that was like this even in Chicago. Don't get me wrong I have had pizza that was even better than this pizza from my childhood but there's just something about it it's almost like comfort food. Joe's is the first pizza place that I have found that makes their pizza almost the same way and with an end product that tastes almost identical to what I had as a child. On a Saturday night when I'm home alone watching movies I like to just grab a ham and mushroom pizza and if I'm feeling creative maybe throw a little bacon on there and just watch movies from when I was a kid.. no but seriously if you've never had Joe's give it a try the pizza is great The customer service is excellent and they're super friendly. It's definitely like a small town neighborhood pizzeria, not...
Read moreFirst experience was actually Christmas night, I saw somebody post that Joe’s pizza was open and I thought pizza sounds good. I will put in an order and tip good for the holiday. I placed my order online which was super easy and everything was reasonably priced, however, it would not let me add extra ranch. (And if you know you know, where are my ranch lovers at?.)I thought it was no problem I’ll just ask for an extra ranch cup and pay there when picking up my food. When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner and his friendly staff, I let him know that I was unable to add a ranch cup to my cart. he went online on his personal cell phone to show me where I would add a extra ranch cup in which he then realized that ranch was not an option online. He was so polite and had excellent customer service, giving me an extra ranch free of charge and correcting that option instantly right then and there. He knew I wasn’t the only ranch lover! to sum everything up I was really impressed to see the owner himself working Christmas night - as well as his staff who seemed very happy to be there, and in great spirits. 10 out of 10 customer service !...
