Blue Ginger Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Wyoming

This was our favorite place for Chinese food, for about 8/9 years. The past couple years the portions have been getting smaller while the prices get higher. Their service used to be great. Recently it became a regular occurrence that something was missing from our orders, about 75% of the time.

One time we placed a very large order for a special occasion, almost $300 worth of food. I called the order in 3 hours early, to be considerate of their time. When I arrived to get my order at the specified time, they hadn't even started on it. They had, admittedly, forgot about it. I had to wait 30 min for our order, which was rather frustrating with a party happening at my home and guests waiting.

The final straw was another incident when I heard the hostess talking very badly about me to the kitchen staff. They forgot my eggrolls, which I discovered in the parking lot, so I went back in to ask for them. Not an unreasonable request since I did order and pay for them. I was very nice about it because I worked in the restaurant business for15 years, I'm very understanding that mistakes happen and usually patient about it. Apparently she was busy and I was an inconvenience she couldn't tolerate.

I love leaving reviews, and I'm am not One to leave bad reviews. This Is the first bad review I can recall. I brought all these issues to the owner first, a couple times. He had no patience to listen to me. He cut me off and just offered free dinners. I didn't want free dinners, I wasn't looking for a hand out. I just wanted to be heard. I wanted to encourage better customer service & better attention to orders.

The flavor of the food here stands High above all other local Asian cuisine! The food is always piping hot, fresh flavored and quickly/kindly served. I used to get their Sesame and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The Pad Thai is one of the best dishes I have had at any restaurant. My wife loves their crab rangoons and their flaming beef stick as appetizers. We have eating at well over 15 different Chinese restaurants (we travel a lot) in the past 5 years and this is the top of the list.

If you are a fan of P.F. Changs, I am HIGHLY confident you will fall in love with this place.

My family has ordered take out from here on several occasions and have found it to be fairly hit or miss. I have had two bad experiences in a row, the first time I was overcharged even after I had questioned the total. The second time we were missing a whole order, I had done a quick check of the bag prior to walking out and they had put an extra container of rice in so I didn't realize the mistake until I was home and all the boxes were open. It was late and I didn't feel like driving back so I asked for the missing portion to be refunded and I was told no. My two options were to drive back and receive the food that had now been sitting for quite some time, or they would give me a credit for my next order but could not email me confirmation or mail me a gift certificate for the value.
