The servers, cleanliness of the bathrooms, and food were excellent. Everyone was very accommodating to the dietary needs of me and my child - so it is unfortunate that it's the after effects of this adventure that brought my review so low.
Their shrimp made my kid sick, now due to a language barrier I said "I believe your shrimp gave my child food poisoning." After a terrible and antagonist conversation with their manager who seemed more focused on revelling in their prejudice than to actual handle the issue.
I totally understand the disconnect, the manager did not like that I used the term "food poisoning" without an official document, I told him early on that I had an appointment scheduled, but he rudely kept demanding paperwork and then continued to threaten that he would file a claim against me and that the law would handle me and that the phone call was being recorded.
I continued to tell him that the constant interrupting of me and unreasonable demands to see my childs medical paperwork, was not helpful, when I noted and told him we were running into a language barrier, the manager said "There's only one language." "You don't know what you're talking about." "I'm gonna report you for false claims." When he repeated that statement for the upteenth time, and I called the manager out for the gross prejudice displayed, he then accused me of being prejudiced against him for being a first generation Asian immigrant....make it make sense? But as he kept saying when his bullying tactics didn't work, "This is all recorded."
This manager continuously insulted my parenting, and seemed hell bent on proving me wrong over actually listening to what the issue was. I only wanted a refund for the portion of the food that made my child sick, he said he would give me the whole bill but only if I gave him my child's medical paperwork to show proof of food poisoning. Now, for me, if food makes you sick and it isn't an allergic reaction, I say "food poisoning" I realize now that some become greatly offended by certain words used, I just meant that my child was sick after eating and said I would gladly cooperate with the authorities he continuously tried to threaten and instill fear in me with. So my 1 star rating isn't even for the bad food, its for the revolting behavior of the manager I spoke to today. He said he wouldn't give me a refund until I handed him my child's medical documentation. Then continuously gaslit me when I said I'd hand it over to whatever food authority called me today or tomorrow as he said they would.
I don't know what rat bit his leg this morning, but this gross display of prejudice, gas lighting and bullying was completely uncalled for. He could literally said "Okay, I'll need your information so we can file a claim, because that's a serious issue." And it would have been done, the harmful language served and then accusing me of filing a false claim with a food authority - when he was doing the filing, and the use of personal attacks against me was completely...

The hostess seated us and then we sat there for 20 minutes and not a single server or the hostess that seated us checked on us or even acknowledged that we were there. After the 20 minutes of waiting, I walked up to the hostess and told her no one had checked on us since she seated us (there were several couples seated and orders taken in the section we were seated at). I pointed in the direction of our table and she said " There's a server there now". I looked and told her we were two tables away and no one was at the table except for my boyfriend. She told me someone would be right with us and I went back to our table. She seated another couple and then brought us a menu and asked for our drink order and said she would be taking care of us. She left before my boyfriend could ask for the Veteran menu. When she came back with our water, he asked for the Veteran menu and she looked around and said "I'm not sure where one is, I'll go look". We finally got a menu for him for his meal and she took our order. She didn't check on us again and then a server came up to us and told us she would be our server. A few minutes later the hostess came up with the server and told us she would be taking care of us. Our food finally arrived and it was good. Our server checked in on us and did a great job. When we finished our meal, the hostess came up to us and apologized for the delay and told us it was close to shift change when we got there and we had to wait for a server to clock in and she thanked us for coming. Our server came over and cleared the table and thanked my boyfriend for his service. I don't like leaving bad reviews but our experience was uncalled for. I have nothing but good to say about our server, she walked into a mess and did her job and made our experience a little better. My dissatisfaction is with the manager and hostess. The manager should have ample staff there to provide a wonderful dining experience to our Veterans (especially on Veterans Day to honor them) and other patrons. The hostess should have been prepared to do her job of seating us, getting our drink order and making sure we had a menu and utensils. She shouldn't have blamed them being short staffed and waiting on the next shift to come in to help on no one checking on us when she knew they didn't have a server for our table. I guess I'm just thankful that they were not at full capacity.......we probably would still be sitting...
Read moreThis was the worse experience I’ve had at a restaurant in years I brought a couple friends out as a thank you we only decided to eat here based on them advertising endless fries with the endless app for 15.99 to find out that endless fries were not provided the tenders I received were like rubber and soaked in oil the breading was disgraceful and just fell apart As well find it unfair that a random customer was allowed to be in control of the tv that people have to be subjected to what someone else wants to watch and the server was using a filthy rag to clean them without washing hands brought food to us that is beyond disgusting 🤢 very poor customer service here I asked for a refund for horrible service and food was refused they want to offer a coupon.
