Ruby Tuesday, Wytheville, VA. Dakota was our server. He was excellent. Always 1 step ahead of what we were going to ask for. Gave us time to look @ menu. The food was to die for! I got half rack of baby back ribs w/classic bbq sauce. The meat just fell off the bone. The bbq sauce had a bit of a kick, but not overly hot. My bf ordered the triple play. Which consisted of, Louisiana shrimp, Tuesday tenders & half rack of ribs. Entrees come w/2 sides. U can substitute 1 side for the salad bar for only $1.99. So many items to choose from. Very fresh. Had spinach, head lettuce, field greens. They dice the onion & halve the cucumber & thinly slice those. Potato salad, cole slaw. Many more items. We both had that + my other side was seasoned french fries & his was Mac & cheese. The mac was in a bowl that was cast iron. That was the biggest bowl of mac I've seen in my life! Very good! Lots of cheese, huge mac shells. There was only 1 drawback, they didn't have any baked potatoes, but if they'd had those we wouldn't have chosen those other sides & found out just how good they were. Not having a baked potato wasn't a tragedy. Good food, great service. Highly recommend. U won't b disappointed. *B sure to ask for Dakota as your server. He was the best server we've had there. I'm not related to him. Had never seen him until yesterday & am not getting paid to say...
Read moreI wish I would have read the reviews before going. The only thing that was good, not great, was the salad bar. Everything else was terrible. When I went in, there wasn't many people in the restaurant. About 1/4 full. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. The bar tender was taking care of the bar and the section beside it. No problem. But she seemed very busy. I ordered a 6oz sirloin steak, bacon and cheese fries and the salad bar. I got a large salad. I was able to finish it and waited just as long for my order to come out. When it did, I didn't know they put scallions on bacon and cheese fries. I looked at it and she said that's how they come, with scallions. I'm allergic to them. I didn't see any bacon on them. She returned it to the kitchen. Again, more time waiting. The manager brought my food out and asked if I wanted any steak sauce. No thanks. The bar tender asked the same thing. I understand why they asked that. The steak was tough as can be. I took one bite and it was terrible. It was almost like it sat in hot grease for a long time then dried out. I tried the bacon and cheese fries. Not much better. I wasn't asked how is your food? Now, I know why. Save your time and money and go...
Read moreI normally love Ruby Tuesdays but I was not happy with this one. We were fist greeted and seated but had to wait too long to get waited on As I sat there looking around I saw at least 4 or five empty tables with food on the table that had been there awhile. We finally were waited on by the hostess . I then noticed there were two waiters for the whole place. 1 in one woom and one in the other room. Yes it was lunch time. I finally went to salad bar and had went through 5 plates till I found one clean enough to eat on. I put them aside and told a man who was filling the food. He just went about his business and ignored me not even answering. It took at least 15 .in. till the plates were removed and clean ones came. People were coming up to the salad bar and not taking any of the plates. Our hostess/waitress tried her best to accommodate us. I asked is there was AAA discount and she went and asked the man I talked to. She said no. I then asked if he was the manager and she said yes. (The man who wouldn't remove the dirty plates. We would not recommend this place to anyone! No, we will not...
