Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Wytheville

The cashier was a little rude in the Taco Bell in the TA Travel Center. I said I wanted a small drink n saw med drink come up on the register. I said "I wanted a small drink hun" then she said "we don't have small size". Ok fine but tell me before you ring it up not after. She was so quick to want to take our order n move us along n there was no one behind us, they weren't even busy, 3 of them standing there talking n giggling is all. Then my husband asked if he could use his TA card to earn points n she goes " well you could but I completed the sale" then she rolled her eyes n giggled. My husband walked away while I waited for change. I said "in a truck stop, you should always ask if the customer wants to use their reward card, most of your customers are Professional Drivers. Passing through on trip from Nashville, TN to Cary, NC and stopped for lunch as it was right off the road. Ordered several tacos, burritos, and 2 cinammon twists. Fortunately we needed gas too as we went across the street to fill up and eat our lunch. We noticed we had been given only 1 of the cinnamon twists so since we weren't on the road yet, went back through drive thru line for another 10 minutes and they brought our 2nd cinnamon twists to us. We drove off before tasting either and they were the worst tasting twists ever with a stale, bitter after taste to them. I called and spoke with a manager and she said they would change the oil but since we were already on the road, we weren't driving back to get a refund and even though I gave the manager the ticket number and it was charged, she said they had no way to credit us. We will never be stopping at this Taco bell...

Horrendous! I have had a few bad visits at this store! Tonight's visit was the worst and will be my last. I place my order tonight around 9pm. I was told that the KFC side ran out of fries?? I suspect now that they were cleaning the machine. I ordered a chicken sandwich and mash potatoes. The picture perfect Chicken Sandwich that I ordered had to have been cooked at lunch time. The bun looked as if the employees had played catch with it prior to making my sandwich. Besides the tough texture the saturation of oil made the chicken look almost translucent. As if it was place in the oil again to heat it up. I would not have fed this sandwich to my neighbors dog. So disgusted I put the sandwich away and decided to eat the mash potatoes. After finding round dry balls of what I can only hope where unmixed mash potatoes, I went to bed without supper and will never eat at this...
