La Michoacana — Restaurant in Yakima

So.... this was the first time to go to a Mexican ice cream shop. I am now a fan. This shop had an interesting variety of both unusual and common flavours, plus a massive selection of Mexican ice-bars and other deserts. The staff were very friendly despite being overwhelmed and understaffed (only 2 people on a Sunday summer afternoon). Still - not much wait time and very efficient. The interior is bright and has an unusual color scheme which helps to make a fun atmosphere in the shop. They lost 1 point for most of the booths being uncleared (again, understaffed on this day) - but I will definitely go back if I am ever in town again - and will search out other locations of this chain. This place has some good ice cream selections. Its obviously a Mexican Ice Cream Shop so the ice cream selection is not of the Norm compared to Baskin Robbin's and other ice cream joints. Still has normal selections though. I took my daughter there and we both had green mint chocolate chip ice cream waffle cones and they were delicious and HUGE cones too!
