The first time I came here with a close friend of mine, excellent service and food. I had a great time with my friend and fantastic experience dining in. We had a lobster roll, clam chowder, and fried calamari. Seafood was fresh, on point, and the clam chowder was perfectly seasoned. Server was very attentive, considerate, and nice. My overall experience with the restaurant was exceptional that I had to bring my sister here again while she visited me.
Second time here with my sister, we were greeted and brought upstairs to dine in. We ordered scallop wrapped in bacon for appetizer, clam chowder, and a lobster roll. Let me first rate the food. Food was delicious like always. Scallop was very fresh, juicy, and the dipping sauce was awesome. Clam chowder and lobster roll were amazing like I expected. THE ONLY THING THAT WENT WRONG WAS THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. The server this time, whose name was DANIEL, was freaking racist and rude. When my sister and I asked for a few more minutes to decide what to order, he just abruptly left without answering. The damn guy didnât give us utensils to eat when the food was out. When we asked for utensils, it took him more than 10 minutes to come back with them. The reason why I said he was racist is because he would attend to other tables of white people more than us (we are Asians). He didnât check back with us if we needed anything, but he would with his other tables. His attitudes overall were extremely obnoxious to us and not to other tables. We could obviously see that he treated our table differently than others. Even though the food was good, my sister and I didnât have a very good experience the second time due to bad service. Itâs a shame because I wanted to treat my sister to that meal since she came all the way to California to visit me and we were disappointed.
Asians beware of server Daniel. I would ask for someone else as your server to prevent disappointment. Food was good though, I will...

Read moreMy 2 sisters and I were on vacation to the Massachusetts peninsula on South Yarmouth. We decided to stop by The Skipper for our final dinner before flying back home. This was a great idea! This is a popular place to eat because I gave the hostess' my phone number to wait for a table of 3 on September 13, 2024. The hostess' were very courteous and friendly. I named one the Skipper, one Ginger and the other Gilligan, just for fun. In about 15 minutes wait time we were seated by the windows, lower level. My 2 sisters cracked open thier windows while our waitress, Andrada, took our order. She was oh so delightful and friendly. She took our order and when 1 sister mentioned my peanut allergy, she was very concerned and said she would let the chef know so that I wouldn't have a reaction. No other waitress in Massachusetts offered that and we 3 ate out every lunch and dinner. The restaurant was really clean, those female waitress' hustle and the male busboys don't let a dirty playe stay on the table for more than 1 minute! The food was delicious!! This restaurant needs 7 stars from Google. I live in the Southern States & getting back there will be tough, financially speaking. They have parking + parking across the not so busy 2 lane street. If I do go, The Skipper will definitely, without a doubt, be on my bucket list! I suggest you go,...
