China Garden — Restaurant in Yazoo City

We've never been to Yazoo City and the wife had a hankering for Chinese food. The place we were going to go to appeared to have burned down recently... So we found this place. It looked a bit sketchy from the road but we've been to worse. We walked in and were told the Air conditioning in the dining area was out but we could sit closer to the register and it wouldn't be too bad. They were right. The booth had seen better days: marks on the table and the plastic covering of the booth coming off. And it was a bit warm. The place appears to make most of its business with pickup orders. We ordered, not one, not two, but three people came to ask us about a drink order and let us know when we were ready to order as well as pointing out the portions are large and we could order any combination for the dinner for two. We decided on the Beef with Chinese Vegetables and Sesame Chicken. It also came with wontons and two egg rolls. The food was fantastic: I can't say anything else other than it was fantastic. We didn't mind ordering as we had been burned by buffet places selling food that had sat out all day. The chicken was crisp, the beef and vegetables cooked just right. And the portions were large: we brought home enough for another dinner. And let me not forget the fried rice. Our waitress(es) were attentive but not hovering and the food was some of the best Chinese we had experienced in a while. Hard to not judge a book by its cover but we were very glad we stopped here...

They were RUDE. I simply ordered from the menu chicken and mushrooms. I called to complain about it being chicken, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and everything else in my plate. She said I could come and exchange it. Once I got there she gave me the refund and told me to never come there again. THAT WAS RUDE. She claimed they did everything right.
