Crab Plus — Restaurant in Yeadon

I wanted some seafood so bad. I couldn't wait to get home after receiving my platters. I've read the reviews and decided to give it a try regardless of the previous 1 star reviews since there was some good reviews. The customer service was good!! Food was horrible... I'm so sorry but it was. Multiple reviews would say they have fresh food... they don't. I ordered the salmon. I asked for very little butter and garlic with old bay seasoning. It was a mess. I had butter and garlic everywhere but no old bay seasoning. When I opened the platter I couldn't see the salmon, it was buried under the potatoes, corn and broccoli soaking in lots of butter. I didn't want to taste it due to the way it looked. The platter was for my man. When I asked how he liked it he said it didn't taste like salmon but it did taste like fish and couldn't explain the taste. I'm not even sure what that mean. I ordered the body crabs with shrimp, potatoes, corn, and broccoli. The crabs were dried out...over cooked and not seasoned. I ate 2 and couldn't eat the rest. The menu states special sauce but there is none. I had very little old bay seasoning and paid extra for spicy seasoning/sauce which they forgot to put on the crabs and gave to me in a cup. The corn and broccoli was so soft that I could literally take a fork and smash it so that a baby could eat it. Everything was over cooked and my food took about 30 minutes which I couldn't understand but didn't complain. My daughter ordered scallops and fries which she said was good and my mom ordered chicken but didn't eat it so I can't comment on that but it looked fine. I'm sorry to leave this long review but I needed to let you guys know and not come here with high expectations because you will be disappointed. One more thing I got the p5 or s5 i think that's how it's labeled on the menu which is 6 medium whole body crabs, half pound of shrimp and the sides at 24.99. I have no clue why I received small crabs when the young lady taking the order stated it would be medium size.. such a huge...

Good evening Google Family. This was my very first time visiting the Crab Plus. I wanted broiled seafood and I didn't realize that I had ordered fried food, until I took it out of the bag. It was ok. I ate the fried shrimp but I saved the flounder and whiting and onion rings for my brother and nephew to eat. I try to eat healthy so thats why I prefer baked, broiled or steamed seafood. I also ordered seafood salad and a small container of macaroni salad that they give you. The service was great!!! The gentleman who waited on me was nice and gracious and the people that told me my order was ready was nice. He asked if I wanted hot sauce or ketchup. I said no, just ketchup. The nice associate told me my food would be ready in fifteen minutes and it was, actually before fifteen minutes. I enjoyed my experience here and the next time I will order broiled or steamed seafood and I will pay attention to what I order this time. I am very picky about my crabs so I was skeptical when I decided to try their crabs. The place I usually go to is way across town and I just didn't feel like driving there. My niece told me last week she had some saute crab bodies from here and it was delicious so I said let me give it a try. When my daughter and I went in the store I asked a very nice couple had they eaten there before and did they like the food. They raved about it and even said if I waited for theirs to be done they would let me try it. The cashier told me if I purchased a platter and didn't like it they would refund my money. When she said that, I had nothing to lose. Welp, let me tell you. I was pleasantly surprised. My food was absolutely delicious. I was so pleased with the taste, portion sizes and presentation. I will definitely go back and will recommend to everyone I know. Job well...
