Normally I won’t leave a review unless I have an exceptional or very unexceptional experience.. unfortunately this was not all that exceptional. To order food, you order with a server at the kiosk near the door and of course when you pay the tip screen comes up and the minimum suggested is 18%.. so you are being forced to pay and tip ahead of your actual service experience. Tips are based off how well your service experience is, not a requirement. Of course there’s the option to hit no tip but we still left a tip as a hopeful courtesy. I’m sure the burgers and beer are good, that’s what they are known for and have great reviews on it. However I was unlucky enough to order the crispy chicken sandwich. Our food was to our table in about 5 minutes.. a bit quick for ā€œfreshā€ food. Immediately I could tell just from looking at the sandwich that is was not going to be good. You could tell it had been under a heat lamp for A WHILE, and I was right. The chicken itself was 100% a frozen patty at some point, on the edges was chewy and none of it was crispy by any means. Over $15 per meal you’d expect fresh food, but that’s not the case here. I’m sure after Covid and the rising cost of everything has forced businesses to cut costs and save in different ways.. but if I wanted this equivalent of a meal, I’ll just get fast food. As far as the service itself.. not the best either. The staff are nice but when we said something about the quality of the meals you could instantly tell they were ready to be defensive just by the look on their faces. We didn’t want our money back by any means, they have a business to run and every bit counts but a little more understanding with an unhappy customer would work a bit better. Based off the food alone I don’t think I’d be going back. I really hope they can change something with the quality of the chicken or at least the way it’s prepared.

Saw it was open and thought we would check it out. It’s actually two business’s under the same roof. There’s the bar and there’s the kitchen. Order your beer from the bar and order your food from the kitchen. Bills are separate. We ordered burgers, I got the Swiss mushroom and my wife got the western, both very good and tasty. We just finished a pretty grueling hike and we’re hungry. Burgers hit the spot. Bar has 32 taps that evidently rotate every week. So if you are a beer aficionado you have it made. I prefer a hoppy less than 6 abv and I found one but don’t expect your favorite will be there next week because they will be rotated. Place is very nice, just not my type of pub. Good luck to them.

Excellent selection of beers and alcoholic beverages. I was most impressed by the barkeep. Friendly and attentive, without being nosey. Enjoyed a Blue cheese smash burger with a Caesar salad. For me the real find was a carbonated cherry obituary, a refreshing NOT sweet water called Liquid Death! So good! I felt like the food and beverage were separate businesses. I was left somewhat guessing on this because the food side was less friendly than the bar side. Otherwise I would have given 5. Update. New server today, so much better! Great service!

Have been hearing stories about this place for a while. Decided to stop in while a work call was just down the road and checking the tap list on untapped I was quite impressed as it the only verified venue in yelm. It started slow with the introduction from Lexi but she can sling beers with the best. Knowledgeable about most if not all beers on tap. Wine event tonight in town increased business but wasn't overwhelmed with crowd noise and music. Will say orders from bar get passed by incoming patrons walking up to bar but with patience Lexi was more than willing to get to me right after. Glasses are clean and beer seems to switch consistently so you'll be getting fresh beer, on whatever number you pick. Not a fan of the little shot glasses for samples as it doesn't allow full expressions of the beer pouring but seemed to be enough for patrons to decide. Bar top quite high, but felt nice. Seemed though that it made me sprawl out more than socially acceptable. Overall I would recommend when in this part of town as it seems to be great at introducing the city to outstanding beers and laid back enough that anyone can walk in and get great service. Did not get food but maybe next time I will....
