McDonald's — Restaurant in York Township

I just left there in a rage. All I wanted was a flurry and yet again this place ruins it. Every time I come here I have to make sure I have patience, I ordered a flurry and the gentleman ahead of me apparently had a big order. He sat at the pay window chatting with the cashier for over ten minutes, while the line behind him waited, waited, waited and waited. YOU THINK SOMEONE WOULD HAVR THE SMARTS TO SAY TO THE CUSTOMER, CAN YOU PLEASE PULL ASIDE OR GET YOUR LAZY CAN OUT OF YOUR CAR AND COME IN SO WE CAN GET THE ORDER STRAIGHT? A EMPLOYEE THAT CARED ABOUT THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WOULD HAVE SAID, PLEASE PULL ASIDE SO WE CAN BETTER ASSIST YOU AND OUR OTHER CUSTOMERS. I ENDED UP LEAVING AFTER BEING IN LINE OVER 20MINS. I HAD TO SETTLE FOR A HONEY BUN. I CALLED THE MANAGER AND YES, I WAS SO UPSET I DID CURSE, BUT I CALLED BACK AND APOLOGIZED AND ALL I GOT WERE EXCUSES, HE HAD A BIG ORDER, WE WERE CONFUSED WITH HIS ORDER, WE HAVE NEW EMPLOYEES ECT. I COULD SEE IF THEY WERE REALLY BUSY, BUT THERE WAS NO LINE BEHIND ME WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE SPEAKER, BUT THERE WERE WHEN I LEFT. ANYWAYD THEY WEREN'T BUSY, AND THIS IS ONE OF THE SMALLEST MCDONALD'S. THE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CHARGE AND SAID TO HIS EMPLOYEE, INSTEAD OF CHATTING IT UP WITH HIM, HAVE HIM PULL OVER TO THE SIDE AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF HIS ORDER WHILE YOU WAIT ON THE OTHER CUSTOMERS. I HAVE BEEN IN THIS INDUSTRY SINCE I WAS 16 AND I AM NOW 35. I WORK AS A SERVER AND I WOULD EXPECT MORE FROM A PLACE, BUT WHO AM I KIDDING. THIS PLACE IS JUST AS BAD AS YORK CITY MCDONALD'S. LACK OF CARE. I'M SURE I WILL BE BACK, ONLY BECAUSE I WILL BE STARVING, BUT I KNOW I BETTER PLAN TO LEAVE UPSET IF I COME...

Stopped yesterday to grab breakfast quick before a road trip. Tried to do a quick mobile order. After adding all 3 people’s requests to order, hit submit, got an error that this location isn’t able to allow mobile orders — although there’s a whole parking area for them!? Ran inside thinking I could quickly order, long line and only 2 cashiers who appeared to be struggling. Drive thru was insanely busy. Sat in it anyway. Complained about the mobile system, said they would honor it anyway thru drive thru and still give me my free frappe. Get to window, pay, but still waiting on frappe. They ask us to pull forward. I have now physically been on location just trying to get a basic to-go breakfast order for 45 MINUTES!!!! I go inside to ask about my frappe. Now 1 cashier struggling at the counter. Had to get someone else’s attention to ask of my frappe. She disappeared behind the scenes, comes back ignoring me, starts helping the next person. I interrupt only to be told there’s something wrong with the machine! I’m going on a road trip! You couldn’t TELL ME this before WASTING ALL THIS TIME!?!? I was livid. Needless to say, waste of time. Couldn’t even enjoy the breakfast I did receive - now with NOTHING TO DRINK. Maybe they shouldn’t have done the ridiculous remodel… it cost them all their common sense and...

Worst McDonald’s I think I’ve ever been to. Check your oder before leaving if you’re getting it to go. Stopped here for a Happy Meal for my son on the way back to MD from PA. He was tired and hungry so I made the mistake of stopping here. None of the kiosks were working, but had to wait until an employee decided to stop goofing around in the back and come out to take our order. Not sure what was going on but they were all congregating in the back talking and laughing. The restaurant was not busy. There were only two diners eating inside and the drive thru was empty.

Took a while to finally get the Happy Meal. They had to be reminded to give us the drink. I should’ve checked the food before we got back on 83 but unfortunately didn’t My son discovered they had only given him 3 instead of 4 nuggets, and both the nuggets and fries were not hot. They were room temperature! He said nothing tasted right. They also didn’t include the Happy Meal toy or the apple slices. How hard is it to get a simple Happy Meal correct and with fresh food? It’s very clear the employees at Leader Heights don’t care. I travel through this area quite a bit. Will never...
