Ok, if you're from the area, then you know me, I'm the executive sous chef at a well-respected fine dining restaurant here in York. And the owner of THE UNKOMMON CHEF A FOOD SERVICE RESTAURANT. WE CLOSED OUR YORK LOCATION MOVING OUT OF STATE. HOWEVER THIS PLACE ANZA'S USE TO BE GOOD NOT KNOW MORE TONIGHT I CALLED IN to make a order for delivery and ordered the large chop steak Stromboli and got a Stromboli filled with pork mind you I'm deathly allergic to pork and all pork products So I call in to get the order fixed speak with the female and she says I did not hear you say chop steak I just heard Stromboli and she puts the guy on the phone I explain to him what's the issue is and he hears me out and says I have to charge you more I ask why and for the reasons he says ok what's the difference $8 💸 because you paid with your card there is a $8 💸 minimum to charge your card (so that would have been a extra $16 dollars 💸 ) not to mention he can't put it on my card ill have to pay cash when the delivery guy comes back ! I say to him, who carries cash now a days I don't carry cash So I let him know who I was and was verbally Assaulted and Cursed out being told I would be refunded and to keep the pork that I was allergic to o ( which I put in the trash immediately) the quality of this business has declined so much sense the father has passed on ( God rest he's soul ) highly recommend NOT GOING TO THIS BUSINESS FOOD NASTY ,CUSTOMER SERVICE (NONE ) WILL SPEAK RUDE TO YOU IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH ORDER AND WILL THREATENED YOU ALSO ( WHEN I SIAD I WAS GOING TO WRITE A REVEIW BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE TODAY (FRIDAY, JANUARY 24TH. 2025 HE CRUSED ME OUT HUNGING UP THE PHONE. WHY THEY COULDN'T JUST make what I ordered and send it to me as I paid for. No I have to be CRUSED out money takin with no food I will not ever be using this place for there none services and will not recommend this place to anyone STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE since when is the paying customer not given the benefits of the Doubt Or food not corrected. It's clear there are major issues here no kitchen management, no restaurant management. No human resources no care for the local person that tries to give business to small local businesses there comes a time when you shroud just give it up because making the community that you are trying to service feel bad and thinking they won't stand up to you or do anything is not acceptable at all o. Any level.
Take your money elsewhere, not here !!!!!!!! Memory lane pizza is better by far anyway!!!!

Read moreThis place is a joke, tried ordering a pizza for delivery. I live 4 miles away on East Market St.. the same road this place is located on mind you. Google maps says it’s a 10 minute drive. After calling it seems like the guy on the phone is having a conversation with someone else, he eventually gets back on the phone and tells me it will be a $40 minimum order to deliver to my address. Im confused at this point seeing as I’m literally right down the road... well apparently the owner then decides to get on the phone and tell me that it’s a $40 minimum and that they only have a 2.5 mile radius that they deliver to. 2.5 miles???? I love exactly 1.5 miles out of your “radius” and you wanted me to spend 40 dollars to get a pizza delivered? Are you afraid that gas prices are gonna magically spike on the 1.5 mile drive to my house? You should probably rethink some of your business decisions.. Or you most likely won’t be in business much longer. FYI customers don’t like being told they have to pay an arm and a leg to get their food delivered. Read moreWhen I called to place my order for delivery, my first question was if they deliver near York Suburban High School. After putting me on hold to ask, I was told yes, but a $30 minimum. The call to place my order ended at 4:49 pm. On my third call at 7:21 to finally cancel my order, because at this point we just need to get food elsewhere, the manager’s excuses included having only one driver, the person who took my order wasn’t an actual employee and then that nobody realized where I was located and I’m outside of their delivery area until they were actually sending it out for delivery. He didn’t even have the decency to apologize for the inconvenience, but instead just wanted to give me all the reasons why it wasn’t his fault. So not only is he a very poor manager of business, he doesn’t even know how to accept responsibility and try to appease a disgruntled customer. The driver showed up, very apologetic despite that it was not his fault, but as can be expected, the food was ruined. The hot food was just mush and the salads were wilted.
