Food is dry and bland... maduros, empanadas, alcaparras and pinchos are very over cooked it sits under a heat lamp all day. The Meats are in a case all day with no stirring or attention until someone orders and still they do not stir them they just scoop and throw on the plate. A not so hidden gem in York but if you love NYC style breakfast, sandwiches and corner store shopping this is a must stop. I will say that they have managed to pack basically everything you could imagine into this store. They are in fact from the Bronx originally and they have brought the deliciousness to York. If I could give one zero ⭐️ I most definitely would. We ordered 4 platters with ribs and 4 empanadas and all of it tasted like it sat there for several days. The food was far from being fresh and that is disgusting 🤮. The pork ribs tasted and smelled sour. The empanadas were super hard and rubbery, even the cheese on the inside was stiff.
