Ok, I’m reluctant on putting this out there because a crowed place may become more crowded (haha) but this may be in my opinion to have a beautiful walk, a warm swim because the ocean temps never get warm here and and a hiking trail with absolute beauty. Sunrise and sunset is hard to beat. The star of the attraction is the Wiggly bridge itself, a suspension bridge that wiggles when you walk over it. It may not sound like a big deal but aren’t you here for a laid back and tranquil time. The way I see living here to me is time has no place and just enjoy the sounds, smells and the cool Maine air. There will be plenty of time for the day to day grind. Oh, I almost forgot be prepared to have four legged friends looking for pets and lovin. Read moreEven though the weather was a bit chilly, raw and very misty/foggy.... My family very much enjoyed our Wiggly Bridge adventure. It was a great little New Years day walk, in a new place. The views (yes even with the fog and mist) were breath taking, my children (10 and 7) loved seeing the tidal flats, and walking the woodland trail. It was also nice to see the trail had some informational signs as well. We were able to take some awesome pictures; as well as make some memories that will last a life time. There a 4 non resident parking spots on Lilac St. I'm not sure where you park when that is full. I had a lovely resident explain this me and I got the last spot. I have difficulty walking so this makes your walk a little longer but there is a sidewalk and there is an under the street walkway to get to walking path. There is a nicely groomed trail before and after wiggly bridge. You can wander through the woods along the water, sit by the bank, watch the boats, birds, have a bite to eat or just enjoy nature. Don't forget to bring something for the Fairy hole. I highly...
