Jim & Nena's Pizzeria — Restaurant in York

We typically order from here all the time because we love the food and loved the customer service. Today will probably be the last time we order though. I placed an order online at about 3:45/3:50pm today for delivery before my hubby had to leave for work on 3rd shift, so he could have the opportunity to eat something quick before he had to leave and take the rest with him for an easy lunch. Delivery time was estimated to be at 4:42pm which would have been perfect. 5pm rolls around and still nothing, when my hubs has to leave at 5:15. I call to ask about our order and am told their initial driver simply just NEVER even took my order and someone can try to come with it now but don’t know how long it will take. Well, the order doesn’t show up, and my husband had to leave and go to work hungry and without any lunch for the night, because my order couldn’t be delivered until about 5:30pm, over an hour and a half after I’d ordered it, and more than a half hour after the initial time it was supposed to arrive, and our fries are cold. I literally wasted $25 today ordering from here to try and make things easier for us tonight and enjoy some good food, and it was just the worst experience we’ve ever had, our order could barely be kept track of, so I’m really turned off after this and don’t know if we’ll be back. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, and we can’t even get our money back. This place is just going more and more downhill it seems,...

It saddens me to write this because this use to be my favorite go to place in York they use to make they food with pride but past few times they was very disappointing but noticed there was a lot new staff so took that into consideration. Well it been a few months seince I’ve been back and made the choice to try it agian today it was horrible not a single cook was there that use to be there and allways so friendly but instead was guys I never seen before and seemed to not care much about anything it took 15 mins to just get a single slice of pizza with no surprise it was hard as a rock at the crust then the cheesesteak was made so poorly I asked for cheesesteak with everything on it plus hot peppers and there was barley and meat only hot peppers on one spot of the sub there was litterly more lettuce then meat on sub and only two little slices of tomato on it and ends not bread was hard as a rock and top it off the guy at cash register was just ignorant when takeing order than 15 mins into waiting for my food he ask me again if I called in cause he forgot he allready took my order idk it just sad cause this place use to be my favorite place in York. Now I guess I’ll be takeing my business to Marcos. I hope the owner get stuff straightened out cause apparently this isent just my experience if you look at all the reviews recently there all like mine. Bring back the old...

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My neighbors ordered from there today and the delivery driver blocked my driveway with his vehicle. I asked him to move. When I got his attention he asked if I ordered food. I said "no, I said you need to move because my husband is on his way home and needs to get in." He said "I am just delivering food." I said "it doesn't matter that's not a spot. You have to move your vehicle." He then walked across the street to deliver my neighbors food and ignored my request.

5 minutes later he came back to the car with a smile on his face and said "see I'm leaving". I said "it's against the law to block a driveway." He said "it doesn't matter." And waved me off. I told him I would call his boss and he told me to go ahead and call her.

Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect for myself and our property. There were many other places he could have parked on the street. He did not have to block our driveway. He was simply lazy, ignorant and disrespectful. I tried calling several times and have not been able to get through the line.
