I waa starving and had read good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Upon entering, the owner? was cleaning and the place was empty. It smelled overwhelming of horrible air freshener, it was cold (temperature) and deathly quiet. I ordered their lunch special and chose Chicken Panang and Crispy Spring Rolls, with a Thai Iced Tea. While waiting, I heard them use the microwave, which was disappointing and then heard them use it over and over for take out orders. That's a deal breaker for me. The food was very good, but the smell and atmosphere was off-putting. It's probably best to use this as a Take Out option only.

Don't drive by this wonderful, quaint restaurant in a hurry down Route 1. There is convenient handicap access as the parking lot is level with the sidewalk at their location in Meadowbrook Plaza. They have wonderful lunch and dinner specials that are good portions and inexpensive. The fish dishes are tasty, healthy, and fresh. If you've not had Thai food, Sasi and Ray will patiently explain the menu. You are in for some wonderful gastronomic delights. Definitely a place to seek out for a healthy and tasty meal--lunch or dinner and takeout.

Papaya salad, Pad Thai shrimp, and Pad see ew chicken ( Lobster was not from this restaurant) My family and I went to Ogunquit twice/years. We usually made Thai Seafood lime sauce and bring with us to eat with Maine seafood but we forgot this time. I called Thai for You in Yorks and ask if they have papaya salad and they offer to make it Esan style(with fermented crab, Prara- fermented fish sauce) It was so good.

Thai for You truly impressed me with their authentic Thai cuisine and warm hospitality. As a lover of Thai food, I was delighted to find this gem right in York.

First and foremost, the flavors at Thai for You are simply outstanding. Each dish I tried was bursting with aromatic herbs and spices, providing a true taste of Thailand. The Pad Thai was a standout, with perfectly cooked noodles and a balanced blend of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They happily made excellent recommendations based on my preferences.

Portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of the dishes was visually appealing. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food served. I appreciated that they offered vegetarian and vegan options, allowing everyone to enjoy the delicious flavors of Thai cuisine.

Overall, Thai for You in York, Maine exceeded my expectations. It's a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Thai food in the area. With their fantastic flavors, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere, it's no wonder Thai for You has become a local favorite, winning best of survey awards the...

The food was great, the service was quick, and there was a nice verity of options on the menu. The servings are on the generous side. I ordered the House Pad Thai with Chicken. They asked me how much spice I wanted on a scale of 1-5. I choose 3, but probably 2 or even 1 would deliver more than enough spice for the average person. The food itself is quite flavorful.

It was very quiet in there, a little too quiet, as there was only one other party seated. My suggestion to the management would be to put on some music to help drown out conversations. Also, there are no public restrooms, so plan ahead.

One other thing to keep in mind is that there is a Chinese restaurant in the same plaza that is a little more visible, but this place is closer...
