Stopped at this cute little deli in Youngsville, NC on a recent outing with my husband because I desperately needed a cup of coffee which, they had a sign for in their window. I didn’t know what to expect but from the minute we walked in the door we were immediately transported back to a time to an adorable vintage little deli/cafe. The furniture was cute, the decoration of the cafe was adorned with really neat vintage signs and memorabilia. Turns out this is a family run deli/cafe. Love, love, love supporting locally owned businesses anywhere!
The first thing you notice is how clean the place is. Amazingly so. As I am at the point where I have to use the restroom every time we stop, I had to do that first. I have never been in a more clean and cute ladies bathroom. You can tell the owners really care about their shop. Had a little old metal ladies room sign on the counter which was adorable.
After that, my husband and I ordered coffee and discovered they had all sorts of sandwiches and I wanted a breakfast one. I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant and hubby had same but with bacon. I took pics so hopefully I can load them on here. AMAZING! They were made right there and so delicious! Helps to that they have a small Boar’s Head deli in one section and I am willing to bet that is where some of the components came from. Also, the coffee was fresh and they had all sorts of sweeteners that you could want from Stevia to Turbinado sugar. All in all, what started as just a stop for a quick coffee and a potty break turned into a wonderful time and now a new place that we know we can drive about 10 minutes from Wake Forest to have a great meal and a...

Read moreI've been wanting to try this deli since I moved here 2-3 years ago. I was super excited to go. The lady behind the counter was VERY unwelcoming and honestly, just rude. I later found out this was apparently the owner! Anyways, we ordered a chicken salad sandwich, a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and a bacon grilled cheese... I would never order from here again. I couldn't even finish the chicken salad sandwich. I took 2-3 bites and threw it away. Absolutely the worst chicken salad ever. As we were sitting there waiting, or trying to eat, the lady behind the counter started mopping ALL around our table. The entire place immediately smelled like strong cleaning solution! She also didn't put down any wet floor signs so someone could have definitely slipped and gotten hurt. The people I was with said their bacon grilled cheese and chicken cordon bleu sandwich weren't good either. Overall, a horrible experience and a waste of $40. Definitely won't be back to this...
