Waffle House — Restaurant in Youngsville

Out of all the locations around, we always drive to Youngsvilles Waffle House. It’s usually clean, good food and service. However this weeks visit did not meet these expectations. 3 tables were sat and the others were piled with dishes. One booth became available for us but was not wiped down. We were not given silverware and had to get up and get them ourselves from behind the counter, the coffee was cold and when offered refills we asked for fresh coffee and was told that this pot was fresh. Well it was colder than the first cup! Never got anymore after that. Service was very slow as the server was distracted with friends. Most of the food like the grits, eggs and toast was cold. We really couldn’t wait to just finish eating and leave once we finally got everything. This visit was disappointing, especially since I always rave to everyone about WH Youngsville. While touring the city of Lafayette and the city of Youngsville with my family, we visited this establishment on Saturday, May 26th, a pleasant and friendly place, with classic and delicious breakfasts. Maddy came to us with her beautiful smile and turned our moment into a great enjoyment. Always agile, friendly, offering a professional service, supported by a fantastic team. Too good to be true: Something tried to obscure all the magic, when a few miles away, my daughter-in-law notices the loss of her gold bracelet, a family memory, and she suffered for it. We could do nothing until the next day. Once again, Sunday the 27th, we went back. Maddy with her beautiful smile saved the day: went to the lost and found box and retrieved the bracelet. Thank you ! First time tasting Waffle House!!! And I’m going to say very delicious food!!! Friendly customer service as well and friendly atmosphere!!! I ordered the sausage, egg and hash-brown!!! And picked at my daughter’s waffle order!!! Couldn’t get enough so had to order another to go. Would’ve snapped my pictures but food looked to delicious I couldn’t resist!!! Hopefully next time I can catch it!! Everyone was busy when we walked in but still managed to look up and acknowledge us which I appreciated. And my food took no longer than maybe 5-6mins before I got served so even better. The icing on the cake was on how bomb everything tasted!! Thank you Waffle House!!!
