Stopped by a local favorite,Chai Coffee Co.,located in the beautiful foothill community of Yucaipa,Cal on California St. We had one of their delicious Chai waffles,marsala chai latte and a delicious black forrest bagel sandwich-which was just pure yumm! The staff at Chai are always pleasant and helpful! Chai Coffe Co.,feature fresh pastries,great waffles,sandwiches and super coffee,tea and chai drinks-hot or cold! They have a neat assortment of "pug-o-rama" boutique items to take home with you and a neat Pug wall for great 'grams and photos! We sat outside at one of their tables and enjoyed the pleasant surroundings and delicious food! Chai Coffee Co.,is a hidden gem in Old Town Yucaipa,Ca! Typically me and my wife love coming here but the service has been poor here as of late, we were the only customers in here and ordered our food 30 minutes prior. When we were wondering what was taking so long we went up to go ask what was the issue with the food the cashier made eye contact with us and ran to the back and when we looked into the back all the workers were on their phones. The food here is excellent but not excellent enough for the price and the poor service. The workers had no urgency or care to prioritize their customers. Update: we finally got our food and it was cold. Very disappointed with how we were treated. :Responding to the reply to my review… it seems you’re more concerned with the 1 star review than the service we were given. When I sent my review it was in my car outside your business Sunday June 1st 2025, I ordered our food at 11:25 and got my food at 12. Our food was a sunrise bagel and berry toast very simple orders. Regardless we aren’t trying to hurt this business and we’re big advocates for boosting smaller businesses and this one is one we have shared amongst friends, social medias, etc… I left a one star review because that’s the type of service that was provided to us, my sandwich was cold when I had ate it. This place is really nice and makes fairly good coffee but time and time again my drink or food gets forgotten about. I think it would be more helpful if they wrote on cups so that they wouldn't forget about drinks. It takes a decent amount of time to make simple drinks but it's gotten better. Have tried to wait to write a review but they still aren't quite there. Hoping that they can work out kinks to keep up with the local competition. Sadly I can't update my review yet. It's a real bummer because I really enjoy Chai's coffee. The staff was just really off putting today and last week my boyfriend and I did not have a great experience. The barista messed up my order again and made an awful mocha. I don't want to put down Chai but they really need to consider some changes or they will start to lose some younger business.

I am stoked to be able to bump up my review for this place. The past few times I have come to visit, since taking a little break, it has been AWESKME! No doubt that they serve good coffee but I think they are starting to get the timing down and the little quirks.
