Klüddes Smokehouse + Saloon — Restaurant in Yucaipa

To start, I'm not sure why this place has such a high rating. The restaurant had 3 or so tables with customers, plus a few people at the bar, when we came in. As we were ordering our food, a few more parties came in and were seated. They ordered after us, got their food and we're about done with their meals, in the over 30 mins, it took them to get us (3 people) our food.

The Mac and Cheese bowl tasted like Velveeta cheese. It was terrible. The tri-tip meal didn't come with any BBQ sauce offerings. It was dry and bland. The burger was nothing to write home about, and the 4 spears of asparagus, couldn't make up for the bad flavor of the burger.

When the server could pull herself away from staring at the air in the bar area, she decided to come over and check on us as we waited. We asked several times where our food was. They claimed they "got slammed". Ummm, no, the 2 tables and a couple at the bar that came in after us, are not slammed. (Fun fact about me, I have eyes and can see things.) There was no attempt for a manager to come talk to us about the long wait, which is usually my experience when stuff like this happens at other places. No comp for the Mac and Cheese that wasn't eaten. No attempt to make up for the lack of quality and customer service.

Went there today Saturday 10/19 /24 took my 13 year old to get steak as the waiter took our Oder I asked for a micholobe ultra said they did no have any so as we proceeded to order my daughter asked for a New York steak said they were out so we asked for ribeye steak he said that’s very expensive I said That’s fine so then he went to the back for 2 to 3 minutes came back and said all we have is Tito I said well will take that as we wait another party came in and I heard them ordering micholobe ultra after serving them I called him over and said I thought you were all out he said oh I did not see that we have more now we get our food and my daughter ask for steak sauce he brings a bottle over and as my daughter try to pour it out it is empty so we ask for another one and he brings another that is also empty finally bring a 3 rd one and says this is all we have this is the closest thing I’ve ever experienced to racism in Yucaipa I love this town but I will never go back to kuddles again across the street is rebels burger better...

Horrible experience, a large group of us got there and one person in our group was under 21. They told us she can be there but she had to be at a table or outside on the patio. When we all got our IDs checked, one person in our group was from Arizona and they told him his ID was fake and didn’t pass the scanner and took his ID from him. They gave him an option to show a picture of his passport or better yet to go get his passport (he has no ID now and isn’t comfortable to go driving without it) so he called the cops. When the deputy arrived he was able to get the ID back for him and told the bartender it IS real. After the deputy left the bartender kicked him out anyways because his girlfriend wasn’t 21… after they originally told us she can be there and we were outside like they instructed. They were super rude about it too. Will not be supporting this business any longer , we’ve never had a problem...
