I’m a taco snob why? Because my uncles used to sell tacos in Tijuana and they know how to marinate meat. Anyways, this place blew me away because they make their horchata from scratch and you can taste the refreshingness of the horchata versus powder ones that are too sweet and make you thirstier. the first thing I tasted was the rice, I was like does the rice pass the test? Well it does, very nicely flavored aaaaand cooked to perfection, not too hard and not soggy. The beans have a very good flavor only thing I would recommend is queso fresco on the beans versus the shredded cheese, it takes away from the beans where as the fresco compliments. And the meat is also really really good, many taco places put too much fatty meat and or like carlifhe you can’t even chew, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to spit out meat into a napkin, like I have human teeth, no de Tiger. Anyways, this places meat is tender and edible 100% 😂 and very well seasoned. Perfect char and juicy! I had three, they say “street style” size tacos although seem, however seemed bigger on the plate. I ate them with one of the two tortillas given and get this?! The tortilla didn’t break besides being the sole provider #ImDead #SoDelicious anyways ya comi, ya bebí, ya me voy de aquí. Squeeze some lemon on that rice ay papá. Oh and they had...
Read moreI mean he wasn’t thrilled with his food, because he has a particular taste in mind when it comes to tacos, and that’s what he ordered; but I know the secret to enjoying your food, always order something you’ve never tried so you can’t be disappointed. I had the Birria ramen, a sort of Mexican-Asian fusion thang going on. The noodles were not cooked all the way, yet somehow the flavors were phenomenal. It reminded me of a breakfast noodle served in Szechuan China. The kind where everyone lines up for the next available table at a small industrial store front. Quickly served, quickly eaten. The husband prefers ground beef, but this was shredded; the beef was not tough, the herbs were just right. Did I mention this was the first time I tried a Birria Consomé? I don’t know how I’ve missed out on this flavor profile my whole life. Since I’ve never eaten it, I can’t really judge whether there are better restaurants out there, yet I liked it so much, I walked away plotting and planning how I can...
Read moreWe had read so many great reviews about local Mexican food favorite,Tipsy Tacos! Located in Yucaipa,California we stopped in for some tacos and totally agree with the reviews-they're really tasty! We had their birria street taco plate with rice and beans and loved the great taste, freshness and nice size portions! The birria was really tender, tasty and fresh and along with Tipsy Tacos red or green sauce made it evan tastier! The fresh frijoles and arroz were tasty and not salty ! Portions were generous and fairly priced for the quality! The server was helpful and the restaurant tables, chairs and windows were sparkling clean for a nice environment for our lunch meal-highly recommended and I know we'll be back soon! Open 7 days for lunch and dinner! . . . . #tipsytacos #yucaipamexicanfood #birria #tacos #mexicanfood #ilovetacos #godisgood #yucaipa #ilovemexicanfood #foodphotography...
